World Junior Swim Champs 2025 in Romania...(WA press)

- World Aquatics announces Otopeni, Romania as the upcoming host of the
World Aquatics
Junior Swimming Championships from 19-24 August 2025. It is
expected that over 600 promising young swimmers from more than 100
National Federations would participate in this event. Located
beside the Romanian capital Bucharest, Otopeni is emerging as a vibrant
hub for sports events, thanks to its modern facilities and commitment
to hosting world-class competitions.

2024 started this morning on the Day-1 with the fantastic
announces of the top achievements that might be seen in the upcoming
days. USA record holder Gretchen
Walsh in the W 50 fly prelims set the new WR with the time of 24.02. In
the M 50 fly prelims Noe Ponti
(SUI) set new CR 21.53
(just 3/100 of second near the new WR).

season is underway, with the 3-stops held in Shanghai (CHN), Incheon
(KOR) and Singapore (SGP). Switzerland's Noe Ponti swum out the two fastest
all-time performances in the M 50 Fly in Shanghai. USA's Regan Smith set a WR in the W 100
Back in Incheon to nudge just ahead of teammate K.Douglass in the race

gathered in Potsdam on the past week of October 2024 with their junior
swimming teams.
Almost 80 of the Euro best young talents came together for eight days

competition, great times have been swum out. In the Women's 5 k, gold

Doha 2024 World Champs - Day-6... (Results)

- Day-6 of the World Champs Doha 2024 ended pretty
nice. In the
evening finals, the new
world champions became: in the W 100 free M.Steenbergen NED (52.26); in the W
200 breast T.Schouren NED
(2:19.81); in the M 200 back H.Gonzalez
ESP (1:55.30); in the M 200 breast Z.Dong
CHN (2:07.94) and in the M 4x200 free relay CHN Team (7:01.84).
From the SRB Swim Team, Andrej Barna took part in the Men's
50 free. In the prelims he ranked 15th (22.05), while in the evening
SFs he placed as 13th (21.89).

World Aquatics Champs Doha 2024... (Full Program)

- Organized by the FINA and the
Local Organizing Committee, World
Aquatics Championships 2024 is at the start. The records were
announced at the joint press conference: more than 2,600 competitors
from 201 countries, coaches and refugee team are in Doha to compete in
75 medal events.
Up until Feb.18 2024, this event will provide an offer for
many athletes as a qualifying chance for the upcoming Olympic Games
Paris 2024. The 6 sports will take place at three venues across Doha.
The swimming will be held at the Aspire Dome (including water polo and
artistic swimming), while Hamad Center will host diving events and Old
port for the OWS competition.. The swimming starts on Feb.11. Read the

LEN European SC Champs 2023 in Romania...(Results)

ROU) - Organized by the Romanian Aquatics Federation and LEN,
the European Short Course Champs 2023
concluded today on Dec. 10. This year's edition marked the 22nd year of
the Euro LEN SC Champs. Many marvelous races could be seen all those previous days.
Represented SRB Swimming 5 athletes took part in the events. The most
valuable result has been set by Anja
Crevar in the W 400 IM (ranked 7th in the final with the time of

Multinational CECJM Slovenia 2023 Meet in Kranj...(Results)

SLO) - Organized by the
Slovenian Swimming Association, the traditional Multinational CECJM 2023 (Central
European countries junior meet) this past week-end took place in the
town of Kranj, Slovenia. 12 national junior swim teams were entered.
Final team rankings: 1/Hungary,
2/Germany; 3/Romania. From the SRB team, Nemanja Maksic earned silver medal

Fukuoka 2023 concluded with great success ...(Review)
|
(Fukuoka,
JPN) - Fina World Aquatics
Championships Fukuoka 2023 concluded
successfully.
Overall 2,361
athletes from 191 Countries and the World Aquatics Refugee Team, 75
medal events and 10 World Records will stay as a record. Swimmers set
10 WRs. Leon Marchand (FRA) in
the M 400 IM surpassed the record of Michael Phelps – the longest-held
World Record in swimming history. Mollie
O’Callaghan (AUS) added five world titles and 4 WRs – one
individual in the W 200 Free and 3 in the relays. Katie Ledecky (USA) confirmed
herself as the greatest freestyle swimmer in history.
In his last
sentence "I will remember Fukuoka for the incredible performances of
our athletes,” Fina President Husain Al Musallam extended his full satisfaction.

2023 brought out one new Champs Record and marvelous SFs and
Finals. In the women's 100 back, Australian swimmer Kaylee McKeown set new CR with the
time of 57.53.

(GBR) in 1:44.30; in the W 1500 free Katie
Ledecky (USA) in 15:26.27; in the M 100 backstroke Ryan Murphy (USA) in 52.22; and in

& SFs.
Great races could bee seen. Three new WRs were set. Leon Marchand (FRA) broke Phelp's
400 IM world record with the time of 4:02.50. In the W 400 free finals Ariane Titmus (AUS) set new WR in
3:55.38, while in the W 4x100 free relay, AUS Team
set new WR in 3:27.96. New world champions became also Sam Short (AUS) in the M 400

Junior Swim Championships 2023 is PSS - Serbian Swim Federation
in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Serbia
and under the control and supervision of LEN Bureau...
The
competition is going to be held on July 04-09. Place of the event:
25 of May MGM pool (indoor 50-m distance) in the Belgrade downtown.
Age
athletes' categories those are invited: M/F born in 2005-2009. The
Championships will be staged over 6 days with preliminary heats in
the morning sessions and the SFs and Finals in the evening. Morning
events start at 10:00 am, while evening sessions at 17:00...

SUI) - Issued by Fina from SUI, strange news have dispersed worldwide. Mr. Paolo Barelli, President of the
Italian Simming Federation (FIN), former FINA bureau member and former
League Europeenne de Natation (LEN) President, is suspended by the
independent Ethics Panel of Fina.
The reason: the unilateral signing of
an addendum to a contract between LEN and FIN, that would enable

CAN) - The present Fina World Swim
Cup 2022 continues in Toronto (Canada). On the first day of the
competition Canadian rising star Summer
McIntosh broke the World Junior and the Wcup record in the
Women's 400 free (3:52.80).
American star Katie Ledecky in the same
race touched the wall as second and swam the 2nd best time of the week,
