of the Serbian Swimming Association concluded tonight in Belgrade (at the
Tas press center hall). Among four candidates for the position of the PSS
President, and after two cycles of voting, final decision of 45 delegates
is - the new President of the Serbian Swimming Association is Mr. Slobodan
Bokanic,prof. headcoach and chief person of the Swimming Club Kikinda...

SRB) - According to the appeal of 34 Serbian swim clubs including 3 regional
Associations (PSB, PSV and PSCS), at the extraordinary assembly of the
Serbian Swimming Association held today in Belgrade, Dusan Dimitrijevic,
withdrew from the position of the President of the PSS. After his effort
to obstruct the legitimacy of the 34 delegates and their valid arguments,
Dimitrijevic did finally "what it has to be done" ... The PSS Assembly
elected temporarily organ which is going to prepare the election for December
28 in Belgrade...

of the international meet Vladimir Salnikov Cup 2009 concluded Sunday

Day-2 of the Balkan Junior Champs started with the morning
session (Part-3). Again seen through the team ranking, Turkey is at the
top followed by Romania and Serbia. Serbian national squad within the Part-3
earned more 5 medals: Stefanija C.Draganov gold in 100 breast, and
4 bronze medals of S.Andonovic (200 fly) S.Sorak (200 free),
men's relay 4x100 medley and women's relay 4x100 medley.. ..

Balkan Junior Championships'09 started today at the town
of Canakkale in Turkey... Just at the part-1 of the Championships Serbian
swim squad earned worthy achievement. Five medals were picked up: Rebeka
Repman in 50 free (gold), Stefanija C.Draganov in 200 breast
(gold); Sara Savovic in 50 back (silver); Marko Spasov in
50 back (bronze) and Men's 4x200 m relay free (gold). Click up the title

swim meet Petnica Cup 2009 is going to be held on May 30 at the
great outdoor sport complex near the town of Valjevo, Serbia. It is expected

- 2009 Speedo Grand Challenge concluded in Irvine, USA.. Andrea
Basaraba Serbian rec holder (as part of the UN-SI/NCA) participated
in this great meeting where she set two new national standards in absolute
category (in 200 IM - 2:22.52 and 400 free 4:23.20 and in final, for the
second time in 200 IM 2:22.10). In 'her' discipline the women's 200 back,
Andrea in prelims went 2:17.47, while in the final she was ranked first

women's backtroker now member of the NC Alcorcorn (ESP) took part in the
Spanish Community Champs 2009 past weekend as part of the Madrid swim team.
Two gold medals were earned in the women's 50
m backstroke (27.92) and in 100

SRB) - Kikinda Cup 2009 int'l meet concluded Sunday at the Jezero
pool (25m) in the town of Kikinda, SRB... More then 500 competitors from
35 teams - SLO (1); CRO (2); HUN (1) SVK (3), FYROM (1); BiH (4), BUL (3);
ME (1); ROU (2) and SRB (18) took part in 2-day events. Top times due to
FINA points were set by Caba Siladji (PRO) among men and Andjelka

-For the popular American web swim portal the Swimnetwork, Milos Djukic,
Serbian studet-swimmer got an interview... One of the best Serbian backstroker,
winner of many national titles in the cadet, junior and absolute categories
is now senior of the University of Maryland - Baltimore County. In his
talk to Bob Shaller, journalist, Milos mentions not only the swimming,
but also many other interesting issues re. his country and culture back

SRB) - Round 1 and 2 of the Winter League of Belgrade 2009 (youth categories)
concluded at the Vracar swim center. More then 130 competitors from the
9 clubs-members of the PSB (incl.SC Dinamo) took part in 2-day events.

Chief referee Nikola Bozinovic, Dusan Jocic (starter), Anita Radojkovic
(chief of the timing) and Milica Didic (referee of the turns), controlled
216 competitors from 13 clubs - members od the PSCS. Many worth results

the Cleveland State University (Ohio, USA) earned two worth results last
week-end at the dual match against Oakland University, Michigan... Great
