I na kraju ovog fenomenalnog Evropskog prvenstva odrzanog u Istanbulu u
Turskoj bez ikakvih pretencioznosti, trebalo bi istaci - Novi srpski tim
- Da se ne zaboravi... U godini kad je Nadja Higl napravila cudo na Univerzijadi
2009 i u Rimu 2009, u trenutku kad je bilo neophodno imati mozda i najbolje
uslove za treninge, kad je u Beogradu na raspolaganju bio samo 50-m bazen
na Banjici koji je namenjen vaterpolo sportu, u besparici i recesiji na
svim nivoima, u Srbiji je rodjen novi "evropski i svetski" tim. Upravo
zato je ovo Evropsko prvenstvo potvrdilo - dajte plivackom sportu uslove,
i Srbija ce imati svetske vedete, kao sto je to slucaj trenutno u tenisu....

(Istanbul, TUR) - On the Day-4 in the evening finals, spectacular
races have been seen in the competition pool... From SRB team, Miroslava
Najdanovski took part in the 50 free SF and was ranked 14th (24.72
NR). Ivan Lendjer in the men' 50 Fly SF ranked 9th (22.85), while
in the final he touched the wall as 7th (22.79 LBT)...

new WRs - Daniel Gyurta, HUN in 200 breast (2:00.67), in the
200 free Federica Pellegrini, ITA (1:51.17), A. Vyatchanin
& S.Donets, RUS in 100 back (48.97).. New CRs - J.Dietrich,
GER in 50 fly (22.07), Paul Biedermann in 200 free (1:39.81), C.Ruhnau,
GER in 100 breast (1:04.84) and H.Schreuder, GER in 50 free (23.32)..

(Istanbul, TUR) - On the Day-4 in the morning prelims, 8 last events
from the defined program were swam out in the competition pool... From
SRB team, six participants took part in the preliminaries. Miroslava
Najdanovski succeeded in the women's 50 free to set NR and earned SF
(24.78). In the same event, Andjelka Petrovic ranked 36th with her
LBT (25.59)... Ivan Lendjer in the men' 50 Fly ranked 8th with his
LBT (22.97), even enough for the final. Milica Ostojic also set
her LBT (1:59.41) but out of the posibiliti for SF. Radovan Siljevski
in 200 free touched 18th in 1:44.98, while Stefan Sorak was placed
49 (1:49.54... In the firs event of today's heats, NED swimmer Hinvelien

Caba Siladji - spectacular swim
year of 2009 (the Mediterranean Games - Pescara 2009, Universiade Belgrade
2009, Istanbul 2009)...
(Istanbul, TUR) - On the Day-3 in the evening Semi Finals, three
Serbian stars took part in the events... Marica Strazmester in 50
back SF finished as 14th (27.64).. Caba Siladji in the 50 breast
again (as in morning heats) was ranked 3rd (26.37 new NR) and earned great
position for the final... Nadja Higl in 100 Breast SF touched 11th
with the new NR (1:06.41) - just 33 hundreds behind 10th Lia Dekker (NED)...
In the men's 50 Breast final, Caba Siladji ranked 3rd (26.31 new
NR) earning Bronze Medal..
5 WRs were set this evening.

IM final (57.85). Nikolay Skortsov, RUS set ER in 200 fly final (1:49.46).

were swam out in the competition pool... From SRB team, Nadja Higl,
European Vice Champion in 200 Breast, succeeded to touch the wall as 14th
in 100 Breast with the time of 1:06.98 earning Semi Finals... Jovana
Bogdanovic swam her best in 100 breast (1:09.21 LBT) and was ranked
43rd of 54 athletes. In the men's 50 Breast, Caba Siladji ranked
3rd (26.48) for SF. In the 100 Ind.Medley Boris Stojanovic placed
at the 32nd position (55:52 LBT). Marica Strazmester in the women's
50 Back went in 27.68 and was ranked 12th for SF... Milica Ostojic
in 400 Free swam out in 4:13.20 ranked 27th...
Russian Sergey Fesikov succeeded
to set the new CR in the men's 100 IM (51.35)... Find out the complete

- Nadja Higl - Silver, Ivan Lendjer - Bronze Euro Medals ...
Nadja Higl (member of the SC Tamis,
SRB) - world and the European breastroke princess.
(Istanbul, TUR) - On the Day-2 in the evening finals, Serbian swimmers
picked up two medals... In the women's 200 breast final, Nadja Higl
earned silver medal with the time of 2:17.52 new NR (behind Danish Pedersen,
DEN who went in 2:16.66 ER). In the men's 100 fly final, Ivan Lendjer
did again his top performance with the time of 49.79 earning bronze medal..
In the men's 100 breast final Caba Siladji ranked 10th with the
time of 57.97. Radovan Siljevski in 100 free SF ranked 20th in 48.49...
New WR is set in 400 IM by Hungarian Lazslo Cseh (3:57.27).
New ERs are set in 50 back SF by S. Donets, RUS (22.76), in 100 breast
final by Robin Van Aggele (56.29).. I. Dekker, NED set CRs in 50
fly SF (25.00) and 100 free final (51.35), K. Moskovina RUS in 100 back
F (56.36), E.Korotyshkin, RUS in 100 fly F (48.93). E. Veraszto, HUN also
set new CR in 100 IM (58.61). NED women's relay set WR in
4x50 free (1:33.25)

evening Final... Jovana Bogdanovic swam her best in 200 breast (2:26.44).
In the men's 100 Free, Radovan Siljevski ranked 29th (48.29 LBT)
while
Boris Stojanovic placed at the 47th position of 72 competitors
overall (48.96)... New ER is set by Stanislav Donets (RUS) in the men's
50 back (22.80). New CRs are also set by Katharina Stiberg (NOR) in the
women's 100 IM (59.12) and Hinkelien Schreuder (NED) in the women's 50
fly (25.13)... This afternonn three Serbian competitors will appear at
the start of the finals: Ivan Lendjer in 100 fly, Caba Siladji in 100 breast

(Istanbul, TUR) - On the Day-1 evening Semis and Finals four athletes
of Serbia took part in the disciplines. In 50 free Radovan Siljevski
ranked 14 (21.70), Ivan Lenjder confirmed great morning swim and
earned his place for final - in 100 fly (49.67). Caba Siladji in
the men's 100 breast ranked 8th for Final (57.84) while Miroslava Najdanovski
in 100 free touched 14th of 20 (53.84)... New WR is set by Evellyn
Verraszto, HUN in 200 IM (2:04.64). New CRs are set in 400 free by
Paul Biedermann, GER (3:34.55), Stanisalv Donets, RUS in 200 Back (1:48.62),
Ksenia Moskovina, RUS in 100 Back (56.74), Aurore Mongel, FRA in 200 Fly
(2:03.22), Ranomi Kromowidjojo, NED in 100 free (51.54) and Moniek Nijhuis,

Ivan Lendjer, SRB star, took part
in the men's 100 m Fly prelims setting his LBT in 50.15
(Istanbul, TUR) - On the Day-1 in the morning heats, 3 semis have
been earned by the Serbian athletes... Ivan Lendjer set his life
best time in 100 fly (50.15) and was ranked 2nd overall. Caba Siladji
in 100 breast cut off his Rijeka's time for more then 1sec and 30 hundreds
(new NR 57.65). Inge Dekker, NED succeeded to break the first Championship
record at the Istanbul 2009 in the women's 100 free heats with the
time of 51.85.

Swimming Squad arrived Istanbul - first report...
(Istanbul, TUR) - Two days prior
to the last swimming "WR big bang" in this year - the start of the 13th
Euro SC Champs 2009 in Istanbul, the Serbian swim team (consisted of
11 swimmers + 3 officials) sent us the first special report - "all swimmers
are in the good condition, the competition pool at the Abdi Ipekci is O.K.,
and we'll inlay really huge efforts to get back home with the medals as
well as many best personal times".
Reprezentacija Srbije (11 plivaca i 3 oficijala) je doputovala u Istanbul
i ovih par dana pred sam pocetak 13. prenstva Evrope u malim bazenima (Istabnul
2009) koristi za aklimatizaciju sportista, upoznavanje sa takmicarskim
i bazenom za isplivavanje u fenomenalnoj areni Abdi Ipekci, obavlja zavrsna
"brusenja", pred trke koje ih ocekuju. Veliki pozdrav stize nam iz Istanbula
sa zvanicnim raportom - "svi plivaci su u dobroj kondiciji, bazen je super,
ucinicemo zaista sve da se kuci u Srbiju vratimo sa nekim od odlicja,
nacionalnih rekorda, ali i sa pregrst licnih rekorda"...
Prema jos uvek nezvanicnoj startnoj listi, s obzirom da je za danas zakazana
delegatska konferencija (ukupno ucestvuje 550 takmicara iz 42 zemlje),
sanse za visoke plasmane imaju Srpske legende - Nadja Higl i Ivan Lendjer..
Puno uspeha svim clanovima Srpske reprezentacije..

Arena - introduce the host place of the Euro SC Champs...
(Istanbul, TUR) - Marvelous place,
Abdi Ipekci Arena will host all swimmers - competitors of the 13th Euro
SC Championships...
Abdi Ipekcii Arena, formerly known
as Abdi Ipekçi Sports Complex, is a multi-purpose indoor arena located
in the Zeytinburnu district of Istanbul, situated just outside of the ancient
city walls in Yedikule. it was opened in 1986 after many years of interrupted
construction, and is named after the Turkish journalist Abdi Ipekçi.
The arena has an audience capacity
of 12,500 visitors. It hosts national and international sports events such
as basketball, volleyball, wrestling, the musical concerts and congresses
among others. The facility contains a multi-faced visual scoreboard, six
online-system counters, four locker rooms, two internet rooms, a press
room, two multi-purpose offices, VIP rooms, etc. Its parking lot has a
capacity of 1,500 cars.
Some of the notable events, which
took place in the arena are: 1992 European Championship Final Four, 1995
European Cup final, 1996 FIBA EuroStars, 1997 Girl Power! Live in Istanbul,
2001 European Basketball Championship Final phase, 2004 Eurovision Song
Contest, 2005 Phil Collins Concert, 2007 Enrique Iglesias Concert...The
famous domestic professional basketball teams of Efes Pilsen and
Fenerbahçe play their Turkish League home matches and almost all
international...

Euro fund of the LEN for the European SC Champs...
Rusija na ovo prvenstvo dovodi najbrojniju delegaciju od 38 plivaca, slede
zatim Svedska (36), Italija (34) i Nemacka (33). Domacin, Turska prijavila
je ukupno 28 sportista. Sedam svetskih prvaka iz Rima ove godine bice i
u Istanbulu: Pellegrini (ITA/200 i 400m free), Lotte Friis (DEN/800 free),
Alessia Filippi (ITA/1,500 free), Nadja Higl (SRB/200 breast), Sarah
Sjoestroem (SWE/100 fly), Paul Biedermann (GER/200 i 400m free) i Daniel
Gyurta (HUN/200 breast). Pored njih, 14 svetskih prvaka u malim bazenima
ce takodje biti na ovom prvenstvu.
LEN nastavlja svoju tradiciju, zapocetu od pre par godina sa bogatim ukupnim
fondom novcanih nagrada u iznosu od 35,000 eura za najvrednije rezultate.
Najbolji uspesi u muskoj i zenskoj konkurenciji bice nagradjeni sa po 5,000
eura, drugo mesto sa 3,000 eura, a trece sa 2,000 eura. Za ostvarene pozicije
od 4 – 7 mesta obezbedjeno je 1,500 eura za svakog.
Medijski poslenici (novinari) nagradice “mlade nade” u muskoj i zenskoj
konkurenciji po 1,500 eura svaki. LEN partner Omega ce nagraditi
najbolje rezultate svakog takmicarskog dana vrednim satovima. Prvenstvo
Evrope ce biti prenoseno u zivo preko Interneta.
Nadja Higl, svetski sampion u disciplini 200 prsno, i u Abdi Ipekci areni
ima sjajnu sansu da se domogne Evropske zlatne medalje, Srecno...

for the upcoming 2009 European Short Course Championships being held at
