the pool were great. Hungary's 'Iron Lady' Katinka Hosszu in
the morning
heats at the W 400 IM set the new WR, ER, CR (4:19.46), while in the
evening
finals earned gold (4:19.75). From the SRB, Ivan Lendjer earned

in the M 100 fly (51.87) while in the evening he ranked 10th (51.03).

of the 2015 Fina World junior Championships will be held. Girls

international Summer Cup Kragujevac 2015 concluded
successfully. Place of the event: Olympic pool in the town
of Kragujevac, C.Serbia. More then 210 athletes from 18 clubs (BUL, ROU

SRB) took part in the events. Due to the point scores, top meet
swimmers

Day-3 - Siladji earned 50 Breast Final...(Results)

RUS) - Day-3 of the Kazan 2015 broughtout three new WRs. In the M 50
breast heats, Cameron Van Der
Burgh (RSA) swum out the race in 26.62. Inthe SFs Adam Peaty
(GBR)
in the same event broke WR in 26.42. In the W1500 free Katie
Ledecky
(USA) won with the time of 15:25.48 breaking her yesterday's WR.
From
the SRB swim team, Caba Siladji went great in the M 50 breast.
In
the heats he ranked 6th with the time of 27.19 while in the
evening

RUS) - The FINA World Champs started Sunday in Kazan.
Fantastic swimming could be seen just at the beginning. Sarah
Sjostrom (SWE) set the new WR in the W
100 fly SF (55.74). In the M 100 breast SF Adam Peaty (GBR) set
new
CR (58.18). In the W 200 IM Katinka Hosszu (HUN) set new ER
(2:06.84).
In the W 400 free Katie Ledecky (USA) set new CR (3:59.13)...

breast went great in the morning heats (27.59) while in the SFs he
placed 5th overall (27.41) and earned the position for today's final.
This evening, on the Day-6 in the M 50 breast final,
Siladji took gold medal with the time of 27.34.... In the same event
yesterday,

CRO) - Organized by the Croatian Swimming Federation, this past weekend
the traditional junior/cadet 4-Nation Meet 2015 concluded
successfully
in Sisak, CRO. Overall, 174 swimmers took part in 2-day events. Final
team
rankings: 1/SLO (1064 pts.); 2/ CRO (1046 pts.); 3/ SRB (609
pts.);
4/BIH (339 pts.). From the SRB team, top meet performances are set by Vuk
Celic (two gold medals) in the M 1500 free (16:00.36) and M 400
free
(3:58.63) and Andrej Barna (two golds) in the M 200 free
(1:54.03)
and M 100 free (51.69) among males, while among females Natalija
Marin in the W 100 fly (1:02.89 - gold) and Jovana Djuric in

Day-4 of the Swim Cup Eindhoven 2015, Serbian stars did
their
best. In the M 400 free final, Velimir Stjepanovic placed 2nd
(behind the Hungarian star Peter Bernek - 3:47.31), earning the silver
medal (3:48.85 - 889 pts) and confirmed the SRB second ticket for
the Rio 2016 Olympics (first one was caught by C.Siladji). In the same
race M 400 free, Vuk Celic
ranked 5th (3:53.72), while Stefan Sorak was 8th (3:59.49). In
the

Coach of SC Proleter, Prof.Branislav Kostic died...
 |
| (Zrenjanin,
SRB) - Extremely sad voice came to us. After few months of illnes, prof.Branislav
Kostic, one of the most respectable swim coaches in Serbia and the
wider region of
ex-YU countries, died. Born in 1957, Kostic was graduated from the
Faculty of physical education University of Belgrade. In his 3-decade
coach career within the SC Proleter, Zrenjanin many of his swimmers
brought national records
(more then 800). He arose many talents such as Miroslava Najdanovski
(first
Olympian from Zrenjanin), Ivan Lendjer, Nikola Trajkovic, Vladislav
Paskas
and work with top SRB swimmers (Caba Siladji, Katarina Simonovic and
others).
The Swim Star 2000 SC Belgrade was always thankful for his large
contribution
in our development (2002-2004). Thank You Kole, we'll never
forget
you !!! |
