(Skopje,
FYROM) -The officials in Skopje announced today that Atina Bojadzi (66)
died but it still stays unpublicized about the causes of her death.
More known
as the Ohrid Dolphin, Bojadzi was the first woman in the ex Yugoslavia
who
crossed the English Channel (La Manche) in 1969... Bojadzi was several
time
national record holder in long distance swimming events. After
independence declaration Bojadzi earned the FYROM's national honors.
The exact funeral arrangement is unknown in this moment. On behalf

complete delegation of Serbia for the upcoming European Swimming
Championships Budapest 2010 is now available. 15 swimmers, four
coaches, physiotherapist and two officials will represent Serbia in the
most important competition at the continent. Milorad Cavic canceled
this competition because of the discus
hernia problems. All best in the nation will have chances for the top

will stay in Munchen on the first rehabilitation. Now the problem with

Editor-in-Chief of this Web Portal, turned back to Serbia. Within 04/05
at the PN High School, Michigan (USA) Igor earned his HS degree. In
05/08 he graduated the BA in Journalism from the Olivet College,
Michigan (USA). Granted by the EU Council of education, 2-year Masters
program Igor done at the Danish School of Journalism (DEN), University
of Amsterdam (NED) and the University of Wales (GBR).... Congratulations for the great magister dissertation
and
Master in Journalism degree - from all his Belgrades' mates!!.

the 2010 Big East Championships concluded (11 men's swim
teams). As a sophomore of the of the Notre Dame University, Petar
Petrovic, SRB swimmer succeeded to set
a new school record while earning bronze medal in 100yd back (48.64) on
the
second night. In 4x100yd Medley Relay, he also picked up the bronze
(3:15.25)
- B cut for the NCAA champs. At the end Notre Dame was ranked 2nd
behind

in Herceg Novi, MNE. More then 270 competitors from nine countries

(Belgrade, SRB) - Leaded by Mr.Ivan Djordjevic, the PSB
President, the annual assembly of the Belgrade Swim Association held
today in the Serbian capital. Delegates of the nine clubs-members
participated in the 2-hour discussion. After evidencing
the last year activities, the plans for 2010 were the main themes also

condition for the next development of the BEG swimming sport.

(Belgrade, SRB) - More then 40 events held today in Serbia
in the Open Water Swimming for the Orthodox Cross of Epiphany.. On the
lake of Ada Ciganlija in Belgrade, the cross was touched by Aleksadar
Sokolov (student of the
Military Academy).. In Krusevac winner was Filip Banovic, in
Zemun Nikola Gogic, in Kragujevac Strahinja Trakic,
in Cacak Bojan Draskovic, in Nis Milos Aleksic, in
Sremska
Mitrovica Sinisa Glusica. The events held also in Vlasotince,
Loznica,
Jagodina, Valjevo, etc.

Slovenia. More then 590 athletes (from CRO, SVK, SRB and SLO) took part
in the Day-1 events... Coming from Serbia, competitors of the SC

New Orleans to the University of Notre Dame, Indiana Petar Petrovic
the top swimmer of SC Dinamo (Serbia), continues setting the new school
records (in 100yd. back 48.96) at the Ohio State Invitational,
Columbus, OH and other season meetings, also
earned the B cat for the upcoming NCAA champs in 2010. The men's swim
team
of Notre Dame is now in the training session in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

concluded tonight in Belgrade (at the Tas press center hall). Among
four candidates for the position of the PSS President, and after two
cycles of voting, final decision of 45 delegates is - the new President
of the Serbian Swimming Association is Mr. Slobodan Bokanic,prof.
headcoach and chief person of the Swimming Club Kikinda...
