Dejan Pejinovic at the specialization in the USA...

Prof. Dejan Pejinovic, Serbian national coach for the senior category, and headcoach of the Swimming Club Proleter, Zrenjanin, is spending a 6-week period at the coach specialization in the United States. Granted by the Serbian Olympic Committee and with support of the USOC, coach of Ivan Lendjer and Caba Siladji, SRB record holders and Olympians, is involved in the International Coaching Enrichment Certificate Program which aim is to provide national level coaches with the newest experiences towards developing proficiency in the area of sport science. We asked Mr.Pejinovic for a short interview. We hope it might be of the interest for the coaching staffs in the wider region of the countries in the SE Europe, so the interview is done both in Serbian and English. Uz pomoc Olimpijskog komiteta Srbije i USOC-a, poznati trener Ivana Lendjera i Cabe Siladjija, nacionalnih rekordera i Olimpijaca, ukljucen je u sertifikovan program Medjunarodne specijalizacije trenera ciji je cilj da selektori i treneri nacionalnih saveza steknu nova iskustva u domenu razvoja sportskih nauka. Zamolili smo G-dina Pejinovica za kratak intervju, koji bi po nasem misljenju mogao biti interesantan trenerima i trenerskim organizacija u sirem regionu JI Evrope, tako da ovaj razgovor radimo dvojezicno (na Srpskom i Engleskom). Reci nam nesto o tome ko su participanti tog programa, i imas li prilike da svoja iskustva izmenis sa poznatijim trenerima?   Could you tell us who are the participants of that program and have you got a chance to exchange the experiences with some well-known coach name? --------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- D.Pejinovic: Program je orijentisan na usavrsavanje trenera generalno i nije usko vezan samo za plivanje. Trenutno je ovde 22 trenera prisutno od kojih su 3 iz plivanja i uglavnom su zastupljene zemlje u razvoju da ne kazemo “zemlje treceg sveta”. D.Pejinovic:  The Program of specialization is oriented to the development of the coaches in general and it is not dedicated to the swimming coaches only... In this moment here are 22 coaches and just 3 of them come from the swimming sport. The participants came here from so-called "third countries" predominantly.     Pored mene iz plivanja ovde je jedan veoma iskusan brazilski trener Arilson Soares da Silva http://www.arilsonsilva.com.br/web/, trener proslogodisnjeg svetskog rekordera na 50 prsno i ovogodisnjeg ranga 1. na svetskim listama, kao i nosioca srebrne medalje na 50 prsno sa svetskog prvenstva iz Rima 2009.god.. Sa njim sam ostvario dobar kontakt mnogo pricamo o plivackim temama, ujedno smo i cimeri vec duze vremena. Drugi trener je nepoznat trener zaduzen za pokusaj razvoja plivanja u Bangladesu - Anny Nargys. Beside me, there is a very experienced swim coach from Brasil Mr.Arilson Soares da Silva http://www.arilsonsilva.com.br/web/. He is  coach of the last year world record holder in the 50 breast, while in this year Mr. Arilson is coaching the swimmer in the first rank at the world lists, as well as the siver medalsts from the Rome 2009. I've made a great contact with him and in our talks, the swimming themes are at the top. Beside that, we share the room for almost all the time of our staying. Another swim  coach is not known, and he is in charge for the swimming development in Bangladesh.  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Introduce us with that program and your activities there... --------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- D.Pejinovic:  Program je sastatavljen iz tri modula : D.Pejinovic: The Program has the  three main modules: 1.Teorija opste sportskog karaktera -University of Delaware 14 dana 1. Theory in the sports character in general at the University Delaware - 14 days   2.Praksa u specificnom sportu – plivanje -5 dana Baltimor NBAC (Bob Bowman i Phelps) – nazalost nema slike sa Phelpsom bio je prisutan samo jedan dan na treningu i apsolutno nedostupan je za slikanje; 5 dana Germantown academy -Ft.Washington, Pensilvanija –legendarni trener Shoulberg i kvalitetan, ali i preobiman srednjoskolski program, (jako tuzan ambijent zbog nedavnih nemilih dogadjaja i Frena Crippena koji je poslednjih 20 godina trenirao u ovom klubu GAAC)  2. Practical part in the specific sports - swimming 5-day staying in Baltimore (at the NBAC with Mr.Bob Bowman and Michael Phelps) - unfortunately, I haven't got a chance to take a photo with Phelps; 5-day staying at the Germantown Academy in Ft. Washington, Pa with coach legend Shoulberg and the introduction in the quality of the HS swimming programs (this part is so said in the moment re. memories to Fran Crippen, who has had trainings at the GAAC, last 20 years).   3.Stucni deo teorija i praksa - USA Olympic training center Colorado Springs poslednjih 12 dana. Poceo sam program 04.10. a zavrsavam 10.11. 3. Expert part - theory and practice at the USA Olympic training center in Colorado Springs - last 12 days. Kakva je sudbina sticanja znanja u Americi, i ima li nade da nasim trenerima preneses utiske i iskustva stecena u zemlji u kojoj - postoji jasan 'sistem privackog razvoja'. What about the desteny with the earning knowledge in the USA, and is there a hope that experience to be exposed here - from the country with the clear 'system of the swim development' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- D.Pejinovic:  Sledece godine krajem aprila u Lozani u Svajcarskoj branim rad i nadam se dobijam ICEPC sertifikat sa projektom "Development and Implementation of Long-Term Athlete Development Plan for swimming in Serbia". Sve bi trebalo da bude u maniru trenerske edukacije u nasoj zemlji. D.Pejinovic:  By the end of the April next year in Lausanne in Switzerland I will have the official work presentation and I hope to earn the ICEPC certificate re. the project with the theme "Development and Implementation of Long-Term Athlete Development Plan for swimming in Serbia". Hope all be presented then at the coaches sessions in our country.
