swim clubs in Kranj (SLO), Sarajevo (BIH) and Becej (SRB), the very
first
meets are going to be held at the start of October 2012. We are in
position

KDPSR Porec, the 13th edition of the Porec Dolphin marathon 2012
concluded successfully. Place of the event: Adriatic sea coast near the
Pical Hotel. 3 disciplines were in the program. In the main 5 K race Matthias
Schweinzer (AUT) won in 58:52. Coming from SRB, Bence Balzamranked
11th (1:09:22). while Goran Bilbija placed 24th (1:23:00). Best
among the girls was Karla Sitic (CRO) in 1:03:12. This 2-day
event
gathered more then 500 athletes from SVK, SLO, AUT, HUN, SRB, ITA and
CRO.

Ohrid
Swimming Marathon 2012 (the last leg of the Fina GP series). He
swam

30 K Ohrid Lake route in 5 hours, 30 minutes and 30 seconds. “The
victory
is not accidental, it is a fruit of hard work and it should be pointed
out who is the best here. I’ve won everything and set new record, so it
is enough,” Stoychev added. Trent Grimsey (AUS) came second,

from 31 countries met in Welland (Niagara, CAN), host of the 1st world
youth-dedicated open water swimming competition – the FINA World
Junior
Open Water Championships – (on Aug 16-19). The programme included 3
events and competitors were divided in two age groups: 14 to 16
year-old
M/F 5km race while the 17 to 18 year-old swimmers in a 7.5km effort. A
3km Team Event (entered by 3 swimmers for one team) was also organised

of Tunisia won the Olympic Swim Marathon 10k today in Serpentine Lake.
He finished in 1:49:55.1, more than 3 seconds ahead of Thomas Lurz
(GER) and Richard Weinberger (CAN), who came 3rd - 5.2 seconds
behind
the Tunisian. Mellouli is the first swimmer to win a medal in both the
pool and the OWS events in the same Olympic Games and is also the first
athlete to have won a gold medal in both the pool and open water
events.

in The Serpentine lake in Hyde Park at the 10 K marathon. The 26 year

to collect Hungary's second gold swim medal at the Olympic Games.
Risztov
completed the women's 10k race in 1:57:38.2, just .4 of a second ahead

Dale Oen (NOR), suddenly died at the age of 26 in a training camp

Flagstaff (Arizona, USA), on April 30, 2012...Dale Oen has been of the
most promising revelations at the 2008 Olympics, winning a silver medal
in the 100m breast, an event in which he obtained the victory (the
first
ever for his country) at the 2011 FINA World Swim Championships in

that I will most likely fail. … I wish I had another six months to do
this,”

- Organized by the SC Zenica-Zeljezara and GKVS Celik, the new edition
of the traditional age group swim meet Orka 2011 is going to be
held this weekend in the town of Zenica. More then 260 competitors from
19 clubs (SRB and BIH) would take part in two days events. Place of the

Radmanovic (members of the Swim Club BPK) will start at the
