CHN) - The 10th leg of
the Fina Open Water 10K World Cup 2015 gathered 54 swimmers (28
men and 26 women) in China on Sunday. Brazil's Ana Marcela Cunha and
Allan
do Carmo were the winners. Allan do Carmo took 1:53:04 to
touch
home, after having placed 2nd in Viedma (ARG) and Lac Megantic (CAN),
while
Ana Marcela Cunha finished in 2:03:36, as her second win of the season.
She was bronze medallist in the 10k event at the 16th FINA World Champs
in Kazan, Russia. Last race in the OWS 10 K event is in Hong Kong on
Oct.17.

the World Anti-Doping Agency’s Executive Committee approved the 2016
List of Prohibited Substances and Methods, which is now available
on
the official WADA website. The List will come into force on 1 January
2016.
Updated annually, the List is one of five International Standards that
are mandatory for all signatories of the World Anti-Doping Code
(Code).The
List’s annual revision process is led by WADA and involves extensive
consultation,
which begins with a draft being circulated for comment amongst
stakeholders.

of the World Junior Swim Championships, brought 15 World Junior
Records and 38 Championship Records that were fallen during the 6-day
competition.
Among females, ZeynepVictoria Gunes (TUR) clocked
better
time (2:19.64) in the W 200 breast than the World Champion at the Kazan
2015 Worlds. Gunes also topped the women's 50 & 100 breast on Day 2
and 3, and the 200 IM. For her outstanding performances, she was
crowned

of Fina Best Swimmers in 2014, Chad Le Clos (RSA) and Katinka
Hosszu (HUN) were also the athletes shining the most in the 12th

World Swimming Championships (25m). At the conclusion of the 5-day
competition,
the South African star and the Magyar champion received the Trophy for
the Best Male and Female Swimmer of the competition. The first-ever Youth

A total 136 countries sent 280 swimmers aged 14-16 with their coach to

ROU) - Organized by
the Romanian swim federation, this past weekend in Hunedoara, the Winter
Championships of Romania 2014 (25 m dist.) concluded successfully.
The competition included senior and junior category swimmers. New
national
record has been set by Alexandru Coci in the M 100 fly
(51.57).
Also three new Junior Records were swum by Andrei Glinta in the
M 200 free (1:48.89), in the M 100 IM (56.03) and in the M 50 back
(24.72).

HAPK Mladost SC, the 42nd edition of the traditional international swim
meeting
Mladost 2014, concluded successfully
this past weekend.
Place of the event: Mladost SC (25m distance). More then 500 athletes

took

SIN)- Katinka Hosszu
(HUN) and Chad Le Clos (RSA) finished in style at the last leg
of
the FINA Swim World Cup 2014, held in Singapore last week-end,
both
successfully defending their World Cup titles. Hosszu garnered an
impressive
68 medals (51 gold, 8 silver & 9 bronze) while Chad Le Clos’ tally
included 27 medals, all of them gold. The 2014 edition of the WCS
featured
eye-opening performances with 11 World Cup records, including six World
records, 5 of which were set by Hosszu. In all, 91 men and 81 women
from

Marathon Swimming World Cup 2014 concluded on Oct. 18 in Hong Kong,
CHN following the 8th and final race of the season. Brazilians Allan
do Carmo and Ana Marcela Cunha captured the overall men’s

women’s titles for 2014 based on their total accumulated points
throughout
