arrived. Five new WRs: NED
Relay in the W 4x50 free (1:34.24); Etiene Medeiros (BRA)
in
the W 50 back (25.67); Markus Diebler (GER) in the M 100 IM
(50.66);
Sarah Sjostrom (SWE) in the W 100 fly
(54.61) and in the W 200 free
(1:50.78). New CRs: Felipe Franca (BRA) in the M 50 breast
(25.63);
Chad Le Clos (RSA) in the M 200 fly
(1:48.61); Gregorio Paltrinieri
(ITA) in the M 1500 free (14.16.10). |

| In the
morning heats two Serbs took
part in the qualifications. Jovana Bogdanovic in the Women's
200
breast placed 27th of 42 athletes with the time of 2:26.92 (LBT). Velimir
Stjepanovic, unfortunately missed to find himself in the the Men's
200 fly. He placed 21st of 53 swimmers with the time of 1:54.63
(entered
with the 1:51.27). Vuk Celic in the M 1500 free placed 15th of
49
participants (14:48.10). |

2014 Champs, 5 new World Recs are set: In the Women's Relay 4x50
medley,
Denmark
team (1:44.04). Katinka Hosszu (HUN) in the W 200 back
final
took gold with the new WR (1:59.23), while in the W 100 IM also WR
(56.70);
In the M 50 free Florent Manaudou (FRA) set new WR in 20.20.
The
last WR tonight is set by NED Women's relay 4x100 free
(3:26.53).
Six new CRs are also swum: Femke Heemskerk (NED) in the W 100
free
(51.37); Chad Le Clos (RSA) in the M 50 fly SF (22.20),
Sarah
Sjostrem (SWE) in the W 50 fly (25.58); Peter Bernek (HUN)
in
the M 400 free final (3:34.32), Ruta Meilutyte (LTU) in the W

Stjepanovic within the M400 free ranked 7th (3:40.30) earning a

in the evening finals. In the same discipline, Vuk Celic placed
30th (3:45.52). In the M 50 fly heats, Radovan Siljevski placed
28th (23.38), while Ivan Lendjer finished as 29th
(23.45).. |

from all over the world, Boris Stojanovic swum his best race
ever
with the time of 21.86 (dividing the 25th position with the Luke
Pendock,

Peaty (GBR) in the M 100 breast (56.43) in Semi Finals,
Ruta Meilutyte

events.

Extraordinary
Congress approved changes in swimming rules...

QAT) - With the presence
of delegates from 155 National Member Federations, including Ms.Milena
Neskovic (Serbian Swimming Official), the FINA Extraordinary
Congress
took place today at the 3rd FINA World Aquatics Convention in Doha
and approved, beside others, the following changes in the FINA Rules
regarding
the swimming events and activities: |

new rules regarding early start and butterfly kick in the breaststroke
events; |
electronic lap counters for the races of 800m and 1500m free may be
used; |
the possibility of using a backstroke ledge was also introduced; |
rules governing the World Junior Records in 50m and 25m-pool |

is ready for the another great world swim manifestation...

QAT) - The 12th edition of
the FINA World Swimming Short Course Championshoips is centered
around the marvelous Hamad Aquatic Center in Doha Qatar, a unique
complex
which already hosted many world sport manifestations. |

| Hamad
Aquatic Center has
garnered recognition for its facilities and atmosphere. Built as part
of
the world renowned Aspire Zone multipurpose sporting facility, the
complex
was designed by Roger Tailibert who also designed the Parc des Princes
Stadium in Paris, France and the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Canada. |

| Opened
in 2005, the facility hit
the world stage as part of the Asian Games Doha 2006, Aquatics sports
competition
venue. Since then, other major Aquatics sports competitions have been
held,

Diving
World Series, Arab Games Doha 2011 (Swimming) FINA Swim World Cup Doha
2012 and FINA World Cup Doha 2013 (SC events)... |

The final roster of the Serbian swimming team for the upcoming Fina
World
SC Swimming Championships Doha 2014 that will be held in the capital of
Qatar from Decembe r03 - 07 is allready prepared for the champ's
swimming events. |

Novi Sad, Novi SSad),
Boris Stojanovic (SC Kikinda, Kikinda ),
Radovan
Siljevski (SC 11 April, Belgrade) and Jovana Bogdanovic (SC
Sparta, Pancevo). The final roster of the relays is not known in this
moment.
