- On their way to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Serbian Swimming
Team, led by Mr. D.Velickovic
SRB Head Coach left today
Serbian capital. At the Belgrade's airport "Nikola Tesla" a press
conference has been held. Five SRB swimming stars V.Stepanovic, A.Crevar. A.Barna, N.Acin and J.Cvetkov who will represent Serbia
in
Paris sent messages to their supporters.
Sending best wishes to all Serbian swimmers, Belgrade's fans extend
their huge

Vucic President of the Republic of Serbia, the Serbian Olympic
Team received today a national flag which will be developed by the team
leaders in front of the SRB delegation at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Sending
best wishes to all our athletes (112), Serbian President sent his hopes
for the total number of medals in double digits...
Among swimmers of the Serbian Olympic Team, two best SRB athletes and
record holders Velimir Stjepanovic and Andrej Barna took part in the
ceremony of the Serbian Presidency sending their gratitude for all
their supporters...

the present European Aquatics Champs
Belgrade 2024
started this morning at the MGM 25 of May pool in Belgrade. First 8
disciplines are in the programme. In the M 400 IM, W 100 free and W 200
back dominated HUN and CZE athletes. In the M 50 fly, SRB swimmer Djurdje Matic with the time of 23.61
succeeded
to
reach the position in the SF.

-The Annual meet of the
Assembly of the Serbian
Swimming Federation has been held today (January 31, 2024) in Belgrade.
In front of 33
official delegates
/members of the PSS, Mrs. Snezana Zugic, former Secretary
General of the Diving Association of Serbia and the official of the
Ministry of
youth & sport of
the Republic of Serbia has
become a new President of the PSS. In her first inaugural speech, she
expressed her
enthusiasm and commitment to introduce new initiatives that will
improve conditions for swimmers, coaches and all who make up our swim
community. She confirmed that the vision of the swimming rise in Serbia
exists and it would be focused on improving sports infrastructure,
supporting talents and strengthening cooperation with other relevant

SRB) - Traditionally organized
by the Serbian Orthodox Church, on the the Holy Day, the Swimming for
the Epiphany's Cross 2024 has been held all across the country.
It's
believed that on this day, Jesus Christ was baptized in the Jordan
River and revealed himself as a Son of the God.
Today in Serbia, more than 5,000
participants took part in the Holy races all at the distance of 33 m.

2023 within the morning heats brought great news for the
SRB Swimming team.
Andrej Barna
in the Men's 100 free succeeded to catch a postition for the Semi
Finals with the time of 48.20. He was ranked 12th (with S.Kwang, KOR)
of 115 athletes who have been entered for this race. With this result,
A.Barna confirmed a ticket for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games....

2023 were held on July 04-09, 2023.

Ivan Djordjevic, President of the Belgrade Swimming Association,
Director of the traditional LEN international meet Belgrade Trophy, for
many past decades enthusiast and always dedicated to the development of
the swimming sport in Serbia and Belgrade, died yesterday after the
health repercusions.
On behalf of the CEO of the Swim Star 2000 SC, with the condolences to
his family, we send our last personal message: "Ivane, veliko Ti

page, the most popular swim event in the SE Europe Montenegro
Mimosa Cup 2021 due to the Covid-19 circumstances will not be held
this year (traditionally always in the time of the popular Mimosa
Carnival days in the Gulf of Boka Kotorska). Having in mind the fact
that this LEN event, for the previous 25 years has been organized by
Prof. Ivan Zuber, the Assembly of the City of Herceg Novi,
Montenegro Water polo Association and the SWC Jadran would continue
with this meeting in 2022...

adorers in Europe. Srdjan Sergio
Filipovic, Headcoach of the national swim team of Oman, died in
the City of Muscat..

of the founders of the Swim Star 2000 Swimming Club Belgrade, and our
first coach. Few top cadet and junior swimmers were working with him.
Former SRB Olympian Milica Ostojic succeeded to catch the Beijing 2008
Olympic Games. Sergio also was engaged in two Italian Clubs, he was
headcoach of SC Braga (Portugal), two swim clubs at Cyprus, in Dubai,

Swimming events at the EYOF Baku 2019
finished today in the capital of Azerbaijan. On the last day SRB rec
holder Nina Stanisavljevic earned silver medal in the W 50 free
(25.70). In the morning prelims she ranked 1st with the new EYOF record
(25.64). Tanja Popovic placed 12th (26.43) unfortunately due to
the propositions she omitted SFs. In the SFs, Nina placed 3rd (25.71)
while in the final 2nd (25.70) - great success for this new Serbian
swim star...
