junior swimmers. Since Jan. 03, the swim center Jezero in Kikinda will
host 12 candidates for the national team. Leaded by Nikola Trajkovic, medalist
from the CO.ME.N Cup 2010 and the EJCM Belgrade 2010, the team will have
quite worthy environment for the first round of the preparation for the
upcoming EJC Belgrade 2011... Beside Mr. Vladimir Ristic national head
coach for junior category swimmers, two other assistants will be engaged.

Ohrid Dolphin died in Skopje...

-The officials in Skopje announced today that Atina Bojadzi (66)
died but it still stays unpublicized about the causes of her death. More
known as the Ohrid Dolphin, Bojadzi was the first woman in the ex Yugoslavia
who crossed the English Channel (La Manche) in 1969... Bojadzi was several
time national record holder in long distance swimming events. After independence
declaration Bojadzi earned the FYROM's national honors. The exact funeral
arrangement is unknown in this moment. On
behalf of the Serbian swimming audience, the SC Swim Star 2000 Belgrade
and my own I'm extending my huge sadness (Goran Rasula)...

2010" started on Saturday afternoon by the 50-m pool of the Cair swim
center in the town of Nis, Serbia. More then 330 athletes from 33 clubs

of the champs. In the men's 50 breast Cameron Van Der Burgh (RAS)
set the CR in 26.14, followed by Scozzoli, ITA (26.46) and Triznov, RUS
(26.59). In the M 100 free Fabien Gilot, FRA set also new CR with
the time of 46.62. From the SRB squad, Caba Siladji, in the men's
50 breast succeeded to catch the Semi Finals as 12th with the time of 26.91.
In the men's 100 free Velimir Stjepanovic set new national junior

the Rashid Swim Complex. Just at the beginning, within the morning heats,
the new three champs records were set by Ryan Lochte, USA in the
M 200 free (1:42.38), in the M 100 breast by Fabio Scozzoli, ITA
with the time of 57.60 and by the Russia's squad in the M 4x100
free relay (3:07.78)... Serbian competitors didn't succeed to catch
the SFs. In the men's 100 breast Caba Siladji was DISQ, Ivan
Lendjer in the men's 100 fly placed 17th (51.54), while Velimir

Friday afternoon in Belgrade, after the marvelous opening ceremony... Great

in the 500yd and 200yd freestyle. She broke the Arizona High School State
record in the 500yd freestyle with the time of 4:52.44 and her own record

SRB) - As issued by the Chief Staff of the Serbian swimming association,
the complete delegation of Serbia for the upcoming European Swimming Championships
Budapest 2010 is now available. 15 swimmers, four coaches, physiotherapist
and two officials will represent Serbia in the most important competition
at the continent. Milorad Cavic canceled this competition because of the
discus hernia problems. All best in the nation will have chances for the
top achievements.

after he went throughout the discus hernia surgery and the 7-day hospitalization

SRB) - Serbian Swimming Association has announced the 2010 SRB Summer
Championships for Pioneers that is going to be held in the town of
Krusevac (Central Serbia) this upcoming week-end. Place of the event -
the Municipality indoor 50 m pool in Krusevac. According to the sheet of
the entered participants, 170 swimmers (boys/girls 96/97) from 29 domestic

2010 concluded successfuly on Saturday in the town of Vrbas, Serbia.
More then 330 competitors all categories (from 27 teams - CRO, MNE, KEN,

- Serbian Swimming has announced the 2010 Summer Championships dedicated
to the Cadet & Junior category swimmers being held this upcoming week-end
in the town of Becej (50-m pool). Due to the entries, more then 160 competirors

GER) - Issued exclusively by the Belgrade's Sport magazine yesterday, Mike
Cavic, Olympic Medalist, World Champion and national record holder,
went out from the neuro surgery in GER. Upon the supervision of Dr. Jorg
Christian Tonn, the treatment was successfully concluded. Next ten
days Cavic will stay in Munchen on the first rehabilitation. Now the problem
with his back is finally solved. Wishing him
fast return, on behalf of all Cavic's swim adorers from Belgrade, I am
sending him my best regards now from Moscow,Russia (Igor
Rasula).

- At the charm ceremony organized by the City Assembly of Smederevo, SRB,
the new Olympic pool (outdoor) is opened yesterday. Since it took gold
medal at the recent FINA waterpolo league (in Nis, 2-day ago) the national
WP federation of SRB consigned the full equipment for the water polo matches

three UKR athletes - in the M-50 free Andriy Govorov ranked first
(22.75). In the W-50 fly, Nadiya Koba (UKR) placed the 1st (27.94).
In the M-400 IM also from Ukraina Maxym Shemberyev touched first
with the time of 4:25.22... Coming from Serbia, two SFs and one Final were

Saturday in the town of Krusevac (two rounds were concluded). 24 clubs
with 180 competitors take part in this national competition.Top performances

(30.45 - 528 pts) and Andrej Barna (SC Spartak) in M-50 free (28.68

Junior Swim Championships continued with preliminaries in the morning.
Few great times were set today by the marvelous Mäkelänrinne
Swim Center, especially from Andrey Nikolaev (RUS) in the M-50 breast
(28.65), Sycerika McMahon (IRL) in the W-200 free (2:03.82), Ivan
Trofimov (RUS) in the M-200 back (2:02.72), Rachael Kelly (GBR)
in W-100 fly (1:00.85), the
FRA men's relay in 4x200 free (7:29.29),

8 events in the morning seassion. France's Yannick Agnel swam out
great in M-100 free (49.88) - the only participant in this discipline under
50 sec. From Serbian team, Velimir Stjepanovic did the best in the
M-200 fly (2:04.66) for SFs. In the M-100 free he ranked 38th (52.53),
while Vladislav Paskas touched as 51st (53.11). Stefanija C.Draganov
placed 27th in the W-200 breast (2:42.89), while in M-200 IM, Igor Vulesevic

this morning in Helsinki, Finland. More then 520 competitors took part
in the Day-1 preliminaries - events. From Serbia, the best position - 19th
is earned by K.Simonovic in W-100 free (58.25) for SFs, 22nd was
M.
Jovanov in W-200 fly (2:24.20). S.C. Draganov in W-50 breast
swam as 24th (34.98). S.Sorak in M-400 free touched 25th (4:02.29),
while V.Stjepanovic ranked 29th in M-50 fly (25.91). In M-100 back,

- As part of the ADN Blue Project, Miroslava Najdanovski one of
the top Serbian women's swimmers took part in the 4th edition of the "Aspria
Swim Meet 2010" that is held in Milan, ITA. Many world stars took also
part in this respectable Italian competition. In 50m free, Najdanovski
ranked 3rd (26.67) behind Ashammar, SWE (24.74) and Lentrari, ITA (26.52)...
In the 100 free Najdanovski earned also bronze medal (57.47), behind Pellegrini,
