Najvaznije plivacko - ekipno takmicenje na Americkim fakultetima, na kraju
svake sezone, predstavlja sampionat konferencije. I radi bolje informisanosti,
da pojasnimo, konferencija se sastoji od 6-10 timova (sa fakulteta koji
gravitiraju blizoj regiji, ali je mogu ciniti i fakulteti iz drugih drzava
Amerike. Tako je na Americkom istoku u sportsku asocijaciju "America
East" udruzeno 7 plivackih timova sa sledecih fakulteta: UMBC
(University of Maryland, Baltimore County), Binghamton, Stony
Brook, Boston University, Maine, New Hemisphere...
Tokom sezone, medjusobom ovi fakulteti organizuju dual-match-eve iz kojih
prakticno trenerski bord sagledava sopstvene mogucnosti, koriguje trenazni
proces i pravi taktiku za sampionat.. Sva konferencijska prvenstva u Americi
se odrzavaju sredinom februara meseca. |

| Od 09 -11 februara 2007. na bazenu
Bostonskog univerziteta, odrzano je ovogodisnje prvenstvo "America East"
konferencije... Pobednicki tim ovogodisnjeg prventsva (kao i u prethodnoj
sezoni) u muskoj konkurenciji bio je UMBC, za koje je nastupio Milos
Djukic (student II godine), dok je za Stony Brook nasupao
Vladimir
Sreckovic (student III godine)... Imajuci u vidu vredne uspehe koje
su ova dva poznata Srpska plivaca postigli na ovom jakom sampionatu, predstavljajuci
ih na nasem Swim Star Web Portal-u, a za potrebe njihove promocije tokom
njihovog nastavka studija, uz nase cestitke, ova reportaza realizovana
je na engleskom jeziku. |

(1:51.78)… Broke New Hampshire’s pool record in the 100 yd. back leading
off the winning 400 yd. medley relay, which also broke the pool record…
Won the 200-back at four dual meets, the 100-back against Howard and the
100-free against UNH… Djukic is also selected to the America East Honor
Roll. |
| Season 2005-06: Placed 4th
in the 200-back, fifth in the 100-back and 14th in the 50-free at the America
East Championships 2006… also took 5th in the 100 yd. back and 9th in the
200 yd. back at ECAC’s… |
| Background: Won the 100-m
back at the High School Championships in 2004-05…placed third in the 50-m
back at the Balkan Junior Swim Champs… Milos was a national junior
champion in the 50, 100 and 200 m back in the course of 2003-04… placed
second in the 100-m back at the SCG Championships in 2005… He helped his
team Vojvodina Swim Club, Novi Sad, to catch six consecutive team championships
titles… has two older brothers, Nikola and Vladimir…born on Sept. 28, 1986…mayoring
in financial economics. |
