Brzi razvoj savremenih tehnologija u domenu plivanja doveo nas je ovde
gde smo danas, nema nikakve sumnje i to ne samo u sportu, vec i u zivotu
u celini. Plivacki sport prati takve brze tendencije napretka, posebno
od trenutka kad je Speedo lansirao Fask Skin plivacko odelo. Nadalje, svakako
je potrebno pomenuti dopunsku sportsku ishranu, hemijske i druge
aditive “obroke za oporavak”, nove startne blokove, a isto tako i cinjenice
o razvoju modernog sportskog treninga, video i kompjuterska snimanja, specijalne
start – okret analize i td., tretirajuci ih kao moderne "plivacke tehnologije" |

Fast development of the modern technologies within the swimming sport brought
us here where we are today; there is no doubt, not only within sports,
but also the aspects of life. The swimming is following fast tendency of
progress, especially from the moment when Speedo launched the Fast Skin
swim suit. In addition, there is a need to mention also the nutrition,
chemical and other “recovery meals”, new start blocks, as well as the advance
of the modern training, video and computer recordings, start – flip turns
analysis, in regards to the modern “swim technology”. |

Thorpe prvi obukao Adidas “crno odelo” koje je potpuno pokrivalo telo,
FINA, Australijska i druge nacionalne plivacke federacije, instituti, treneri,
plivaci i dr., mogli su da vide samo nove svetske rekorde. Cak sta vise,
nije bilo prituzbi (Craig Lord tada nije imao jasan stav, John Criag, John
Lohn i drugi “zastitinici etike” takodje). |

u poslednje dve godine, “neko autokratsko telo” je odlucilo: “poliamid
je sertifikovan, dok je poliuretan zabranjen. Debljina vlakna za materijal
je krucijalna stvar. Plovnost, takodje...” Mozda to moze da zvuci veoma
zabavno, ali je istinito. |

After 150 new WRs that were swum
out in last two years, “some autocratic body” has decided that: “Polyamide
is approved, while Polyurethane forbidden. The thickness of the fiber for
the material is crucial thing. Buoyancy, too..”. Maybe it sounds funny,
but it’s true. |

| U domenu globalnih ekonomskih interesa,
broj proizvodjaca ovih “sofisticiranih” plivackih odela je za svako postovanje.
Njih vise od 350 pokusalo je da dodje u posed FINA sertifikacije. Cak sta
vise, svi imaju obavezu da proizvedu isti (ili analogni) materijal za plivacko
odelo. Prema pravilu GR 5.3, plivac moze da pliva samo u jednom odelu.
Neki od najpoznatijih proizvodjaca postali su u medjuvremenu generalni
sponzori mnogih nacionalnih plivackih saveza. Potrebno je istaci da je
Speedo sponzor FINA. “Mali Jaked” se pojavio pre godinu i po dana u nekom
nepoznatom selu pored Milana u Italiji. U sadasnjem trenutku, deo svetskog
trzista, kad je u pitanju svetsko takmicarsko plivanje, otkinuto je za
“novi italijanski stil”. Ali, globalni “biznis rat” je zapocet. Sutsko
vece je situirano u nekoj “kancelariji” u Svajcarskom tehnoloskom institutu
(ili u birou u Lozani). |

Looking throughout the global economic
interests, the number of the manufacturers of those “sophisticated” bodysuits
is respectable. More than 350 of them were trying to reach the FINA approval.
Moreover, all of them have to produce the same (analogous) material. The
swimmer can only wear one swimsuit (Rule GR 5.3). Few of the top companies
became the general sponsors of many national swimming federations. To that
extent, Speedo is sponsor of FINA. “Small Jaked” has appeared few years
ago in some unknown village near the city of Milan, Italy. Nowadays, huge
part of the world market regarding the competitive swimming is caught for
the “new Italian style”. And the global “business war” has emerged. However,
the “court of justice” is situated in some small “room” of the Swiss Institute
of the technology (or in a bureau in Lausanne). |

| Da dotaknemo snove (vecine) sportista.
Moderni gladijator stremi boljem, brzem, daljem. Neko bi rekao, fer-plej,
sta je to? Porediti recimo rezultate Spitza (1972) i Phelpsa (2008), ili
Sulliven-a i Bousquet-a, ne znaci nista. Da li bi Sara Isakovic (SLO) trebalo
da ocekuje Olimpjsku zlatnu medalju, koja je u Pekingu vec dodeljena Pellegrini-jevoj
(ITA) zbog zabranjenog Arena X-Glie kostima? Ako je cena Jaked-a 340 Eura,
dok Speedo LZR kosta 550 $, a u isto vreme omogucuje najbolje sanse za
sticanje rekorda (mitinga, sampionata, nacionalnog, evropskog ili svetskog),
apsolutno je eticno da takvo “pomogalo” bude raspolozivo svakome. |

Let us consider the dream of (almost)
every sportsman. Modern gladiators only look to be better, faster and higher
than their opposition. One might say Fair Play - what’s that? To compare
the Spitz’s (1972) and Phelps’s (2008) results or of Sullivan and Bousquet,
means nothing. Should Sara Isakovic (SLO) expect the Olympic Gold medal
consigned in Beijing to Pellegrini (ITA) because of the banned Arena X-Glide?
So, if the price of the Jaked 01 is 340 euro, while Speedo LZR costs 550
$, and in the same time enables the best chances for MR, CR, NR, ER, WR,
it is absolutely ethical for such “help” to be used by everyone. |

| I umesto zakljucka – razvoj savremenih
plivacih kostima poslednjih godina nece biti zaustavljen.. Sta vise, G-din
Fabricca, gazda Jaked-a je najavio: “Peking je bio samo korak na putu produkcije
sve boljeg i boljeg plivackog odela.” Cinjenica je da samo FIN (Italijanka
plivacka federacija) ima snage i otvoreno prepoznaje ciste i realne ideje.
Remo Sacchi, poznati strucnjak i trener italijanskog tima DDS iz Milana,
ohrabrio je Jaked-ov team konstruktora da nastave dalje sa razvojem njihovog
programa. U svetu plivanja, dileme nema – svi plivaci i ostali “plivacki
radnici" imaju istovetno misljenje. |

And, instead of conclusion – the
development of the modern swimsuits would not be broken. What’s more, Mr.Fabricca,
head of Jaked has announced: “The research continues, Beijing was just
a stop on the way"... for better and better suits then the previous one.
It is the fact that only FIN (Italian Swimming Federation) has a power
to recognize such pure and real idea. Remo Sacchi, famous coach of DSS
swim club has encouraged the Jaked’s team to go ahead in the progression.
In the world of swimming, the dilemma does not exist - all swimmers and
other “swim workers” have the same thoughts. |
