2010 defended the Doctorate thesis in swimming from the Alpha University,
Belgrade. The dissertation "The analyze of the six men's swim disciplines
at the Olympic Games from 1992 to 2008" was marked excellent by the
commission in the next constitution: Prof.Dr D.Zivotic, Prof.Dr.Dj.Macvanin
and Prof. Dr D.Madic. Now, Serbia has got another Doctor of Science in

days, former center "25 of May", now called Center "Milan Gale Muskatirovic"
has got into reconstruction. Completely supported by the City Assembly
of Belgrade, the project of revitalization of this famous water polo &

Balkan Junior Championships which started Saturday in Varna,
Bulgaria did it best. In the morning part, 8 medals were earned, while
in the afternoon 9 were added. In the Part-2, Katarina Simonovic
picked up 3 gold medals (in 50 fly 28.32; 100 free 58.09 and 200 IM 2:24.59).
Stefan
Sorak in 200 back took gold (2:08.06) while the SRBwomen's

Igor earned his HS degree. In 05/08 he graduated the BA in Journalism from
the Olivet College, Michigan (USA). Granted by the EU Council of education,
2-year Masters program Igor done at the Danish School of Journalism (DEN),
University of Amsterdam (NED) and the University of Wales (GBR).... Congratulations
for the great magister dissertation and Master in Journalism degree - from

of the worthy 30th anniversary of the club's existing, this past week-end
in the Serbian capital, Swimming Club "11 April" organized an interesting
ceremonial international swim meeting which gathered more the 200 athletes
predominately from the domestic clubs and two teams from Republic of Srpska
(BiH). In his greet note, Mr.Slobodan Petrovic, President of the
Club extended his huge gratitude to all present swimmers and clubs for
taking part in this meeting and the club's celebration. He also expressed
his best wishes and hopes for the next intensive development of of this
swim club, as well as the swimming sport in Belgrade and wider in Serbia.

club, concluded successfully by the SPENS swim center in the City of Novi

Conference of the Belgrade Swim Association...
(Belgrade,
SRB) - Leaded by Mr.Ivan Djordjevic, the PSB President, the annual assembly
of the Belgrade Swim Association held today in the Serbian capital. Delegates
of the nine clubs-members participated in the 2-hour discussion. After
evidencing the last year activities, the plans for 2010 were the main themes
also the condition for the next development of the BEG swimming sport.

in the Swimming for Epiphany's Cross...
(Belgrade,
SRB) - More then 40 events held today in Serbia in the Open Water Swimming
for the Orthodox Cross of Epiphany.. On the lake of Ada Ciganlija in
Belgrade, the cross was touched by Aleksadar Sokolov (student of
the Military Academy).. In Krusevac winner was Filip Banovic, in
Zemun Nikola Gogic, in Kragujevac Strahinja Trakic, in Cacak
Bojan
Draskovic, in Nis Milos Aleksic, in Sremska Mitrovica
Sinisa
Glusica. The events held also in Vlasotince, Loznica, Jagodina, Valjevo,
etc.

- Dr.Fig 2010 started Saturday in Slovenia. More then 590 athletes
(from CRO, SVK, SRB and SLO) took part in the Day-1 events... Coming from
Serbia, competitors of the SC Proleter (Zrenjanin) showed their great potencies.
Bence
Balzam (1999) in the boys 50 fly earned gold medal (34.49). Also were

the SRB national selection in Sierra Nevada...
(Sierra Nevada,
ESP) - Except Mike Cavic and Miroslava Najdanovski who continues their
training process with the ADN swim project in Italy, the national team
of Serbia leaded by coaches D.Pejanovic and S.Higl started their high altitude
preparation in the Sierra Nevada center (Spain). The team is consisted
of ten swimmers (Higl, Lendjer, Siladji, Strazmester, Petrovic, Bogdanovic,
Sorak, Stojanovic and Siljevski). To our pearls - Have a good time in
South Spain - from all your Belgrade's fans...

USA) - After he moved from the University of New Orleans to the University
of Notre Dame, Indiana Petar Petrovic the top swimmer of SC Dinamo
(Serbia), continues setting the new school records (in 100yd. back 48.96)
at the Ohio State Invitational, Columbus, OH and other season meetings,
also earned the B cat for the upcoming NCAA champs in 2010. The men's swim
team of Notre Dame is now in the training session in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The team goal for this season will be the Big East Swimming Championship
in Pittsburg, Pa in the second half of February. Find out more on Notre

- Issued by the FBSS, from the data base of Mr.Roumen Atanasov, the Women's
2009 (Long Course pool) Top-10 AG swim rankings are presented. The only
Serbian swimmer in these worthy AG statistics is coming from the SC Nis
2005 -

SRB) - Celebrating the club's annual day, the Chief board of the Swimming
Club Proleter (Zrenjanin) issued the list of its top times (all pools)
set in the course of 2009... Medals from the Universiade Belgrade 2009,
the Mediterranean Games Pescara '09, European SC championships Istanbul
2009 and the participation at the EYOF 2009 (FIN) and European Junior Champs
(CZE), are the evidences. And not only Lenjder, Siladji, Najdanovski and
Vukanovic, but also new stars are coming (Trajkovic, Cordas-Draganov, Cosic,

Bokanic, new President of the PSS...

SRB) - After the 5 hours lasting conference - the extraordinary Assembly
of the Serbian Swimming Association concluded tonight in Belgrade (at the
Tas press center hall). Among four candidates for the position of the PSS
President, and after two cycles of voting, final decision of 45 delegates
is - the new President of the Serbian Swimming Association is Mr. Slobodan
Bokanic,prof. headcoach and chief person of the Swimming Club Kikinda...

to all present members of the PSS.

SRB) - Among many SRB sport stars (Cavic, Zimonjic, Topic, Filipovic, Djokovic,
Stojic, Jagar, etc.), Nadja Higl, swimmer - the world champion and
national rec holder earned a prestige acknowledgment from the Sport Magazine
in its 53rd annual voting for the best athlete of the year. At the spectacular
ceremony held at the Continental Hotel, Higl received the traditional "Gold

traditional AG swim meet St.Clause Meet - Deda Mraz 2009 concluded
today in the City of Novi Sad, SRB... Due to the earned medals, final team
ranking is as follows: 1/ SC Novi Sad; 2/ SC Swim Star Becej; 3/ SC Vojvodina
