polo Cup was held and in 2006 also European Championships). This is the
place where the most ex-YU National and Republic LC Championships of aquatic
sports were held in the previous decades . |

Banjica Water Polo and
Swim Center in Belgrade
has 2 Olympic pools (in-door and out-door), with the complete following
facilities. This center is part of the wide sport complex of this part
of Belgrade. According the City plans, this structure is dedicated only
to the water polo sport and is well known as a host pool of the Partizan
WP club, Belgrade. Many respectable tournaments were held by this marvelous
pool in the past. |

Vracar 25m pool in
Belgrade is one of the oldest swim and sport facilities in the Serbian
capital. This is the indoor 25 m pool (6 lanes). For many previous years
it was closed, because of the renovation. Today, this pool is used for
many Belgrade's clubs not only from the swimming sport, but also the water
polo, synchro swimming, underwater sports and others. This pool is host
place for the traditional League of Belgrade tournaments and many winter
state championships. |

in Belgrade with indoor
Olympic pool 50 m 8 lanes, one outdoor pool 33 m long and two smaller
one for additional activities, with the complex of 8 outdoor tennis grounds,
indoor facilities for other sports, fitness center, sauna, refreshment
bars, etc. This is the main pool for the training process of Red Star Swimming
Club and Swim Star 2000 Swimming Club, Belgrade also Red Star Water polo
Club, Belgrade. |

Kosutnjak Aquatic Center
in the picturesque part of Belgrade. It is consisted with the 50 m Olympic
outdoor pool, small pool for diving and 3-4 recreational pools for outdoor
water sports, dedicated to kids and inhabitants in the summer time. This
complex is in the jurisdiction of the Republic Sport & Medicine Center,
and cannot be used for the training process even in the summer. |

Vojvodina 'Spens' sport
Center in the town of Novi
Sad the capital of Vojvodina region, with 50 m long 8 lanes Olympic pool
also one 16 m pool for warming, with the complete swim and sport facilities.
This is an excellent place for many domestic and international swim events.
The traditional International "Novi Sad Cup" Meet is well known all across
the Europe, since 1980. |

Pancevo Sport Center,
in
the town of Pancevo 25 km North from Belgrade in the region of Vojvodina,
with one excellent 25 m long 8 lanes indoor swim pool. The place
of many domestic and international Short Course events, especially the
traditional International 'Pancevo Cup' Age Group Meet. |

with one excellent Olympic outdoor 50 m long 8 lanes pool. The place of
many domestic and international summer events. Opened from May - September. |

Zrenjanin Swim Center,
in the town of Zrenjanin, 70 km North from Belgrade, with one 25 m long
10 lanes pool opened throughout the year and and one 50 m long 8 lines
outdoor pool just in the summer period. Excellent pool for breaking Short
Course records. The traditional International 'Zrenjanin Cup' Meet is organizing
here, also many domestic National and Republic winter Championships. |

Nis - Cair Sport Center,
at
the South-East of Serbia with indoor Olympic 50 m long 8 lanes pool and
one additional 25 m long for warming. One of the best preserved swim pool
in the country and the place for the representative international and domestic
swim events. The traditional International Meet 'Sveti Nikola' is organizing
by this pool, also National and Republic LC Championships. |

Subotica - Dudova Suma
pool, in the town of Subotica,
Vojvodina with one outdoor 50 m 8 lanes olympic pool which is covered by
the air balloon in the winter period and used for the swimming activities
of 'Spartak' Swimming and Water polo Club, Subotica. Many national and
Republic events were organized here. This is the main place for the Open
National Summer Masters Championships. |

Kikinda - Jezero Swim
Center, in the town of Kikinda,
about 200 km North - East from Belgrade in Vojvodina Region. One indoor
25 m 10 lanes pool and one 50 m 8 lines outdoor pool with the complete
additional sport facilities. This is a place where many domestic National
and Republic Swim Events were organized. One of them is the traditional
"Swim Talents" Age Group Meet for the younger categories. |

Sabac - Zorka pool,
in the town of Sabac, about 100 km western of Belgrade. This is the only
indoor pool (25 m distance) in this town, despite the fact that the traditional
FINA Cup and Sabac marathon are the widely popular open water swimming
events not only in this region but also outside of Serbia. Many years,
head of the municipality of Sabac tried to find the funds for reconstruction,
however nothing has changed |

Krusevac Outdor Swim
pool, in the town of Krusevac
(Central Serbia) - 50 m 8 lanes pool with the complete additional sport
and swim facilities. In the course of 2000 the fantastic LEN European Water
polo Cup tournament has been held here (the picture on the left dated from
2000). This center should represent the central structure of the Regional
Swimming Association of Central Serbia. |

Krusevac indoor Olympic
pool, in the town of Krusevac
(Central Serbia) two indoor pools exist - 50 m 8 lanes Olympic pool (where
many domestic and international events in swim & water polo have been
held) and another one of 25 m longs for a swim school, warming-up etc.).
This center also has the complete additional sport and swim facilities.
In 1998 the Balkan Junior Swimming Championship was organized here
and European Water polo Cup in 2000. |

Knjazevac Swim Center,
3
km apart from the town of Knjazevac, South-East Serbia. 50 m long,
10 lanes pool with the pure thermal water (27 deg. C) continual refilling
from the 600 m deep well throughout the year. Opened from May - September.
Recommend especially for the serious preparation prior to summer
LC Championships. |

Jagodina outdoor Swim
Pool in the center of the
town of Jagodina (Central Serbia) in the jurisdiction of the Municipality
Beer Factory and Swim and Water polo club "Pivara", Jagodina. 25
m long and 8 lanes with all facilities. This is the main pool for the traditional
International Summer meet "Jagodina Open" (mid August). |

- at the town of Jagodina (Central Serbia) - 25m distance. Many years this
facility has been used by water polo and swimming clubs that exist in this
town. Despite the interest for the swimming is large (4 swimming clubs
with more the 300 athletes need to have adeqate training), the municipality
heads do not have idea how to overcome that problem and provide better
conditions. |

here. Excellent place for summer long term preparation prior to the important

Center at the altitude of
1100 m a.s.l at the Mountain of Zlatibor (Central Serbia). 25 indoor swim
pool 8 lanes with whole facilities for international events and especially
preparation in the winter time. This pool host the many domestic and international
competitors for the traditional age group event "Cigota Cup" which is organizing
at the beginning of October. |

(west-southern Serbia), with the excellent conditions for open water activities
in swimming, water polo, aquatic recreation, etc. by the coast of Djetinja
river. One 25 m outdoor pool with whole facilities for summer national

Ljig Outdoor Swim Center,
in
the town of Ljig (80 km to the South of Belgrade, Central Serbia), with
the excellent conditions for open water activities in swimming, water polo,
aquatic recreation, etc. by the luxury 'B' category hotel Ljig. Here is
one olympic 50 m outdoor pool with whole facilities for summer national
and international competitions, summer swim camps, preparations, etc. |

Paracin Indoor Swim Poolin
the center of the town of Paracin (Central Serbia) upon the jurisdiction
of the City sport and swim complex and Swimming club "Crnica", Paracin.
25 m long 6 lanes pool and another small one for the beginners (12.5
m long) with all facilities for the quality training process and regional
competitions. This is also the pool of the present best Junior swimmers
and Yugoslav record holders in men's and women's categories: Mr. Borko
Radojkovic (1986) and Ms. Ana Vidovic (1987) who are coached by Prof.
Ljubisa Jovanovic. |

Kosijeric Outdoor Swim
Center, in the town of Kosijeric
(130 km to the South of Belgrade, Central Serbia), with the excellent conditions
for open water activities in swimming, water polo, aquatic recreation,
also football, basketball, etc. Nearby athletes may stay at the 3-star
luxury 'Skrapez' hotel. Here is one Olympic 50 m outdoor pool with whole
facilities for summer national and international competitions, summer swim
camps, preparations, etc. |

Vrnjacka Banja - Breza
25m indoor pool, in the
town of Vrnjacka Banja - far best tourist and health resort in Serbia.
This pool is used by one water polo and one swimming club, however the
municipality does not have the idea how to steer the interest regaring
the development of aquatics. Beside this pool, Vrnjacka Banja has also
one 50 m outdoor pool which is opened only in summer (less then 60 days)
dedicated only to the recreative users. |

Kragujevac - Mladost
50 m outdoor pool, in the
town of Kragujevac (Central Serbia). This pool is used only through the
summer time and gathers mostly population who need the water for recreation.
In the summer, two-three swimming school are active with more then 300
kids who learn to swim. Unfortunately, this facility does not have ropes
and lanes as well as start blocks. |

Petnica outdoor pool,
in the town of Valjevo is part of the Petnica sport complex.
It has the outdoor Olympic pool with thermal water (28 degrees centigrade)
and is used for one waterpolo and one swimming club. Mosly this facility
is used for recreational purpose in the summer time, dispate the serious
idea exists to cover this pool with the baloon which can enable the working
period throughout the calendar year. |

Mostonga indoor 25m pool,
in the town of Sombor. This facility is in jurisdiction of
the local municipality. It is the only indoor pool in the north-western
part of the Vojvodina Region. Four swimming clubs use this pool for everyday
training. Many comercial and state competitions were held here especially
in the winter part of the year. |

Majdanpek indoor pool,
in the town of Majdanpek, about 150 km eastern of Belgrade.
This facility is shouted for long time, despite the fact that many previous
years it was used for the winter preparation of the younger swimmers of
many domestic swim clubs. |
