of the 'Maribor 2006' International Meet has brought the six new
meet records: Sara Isakovic (SLO) in 400 Free W (4:18.00); Vladan
Markovic (SRB) in 200 Fly M (2:02.26); ; Luka Vrtovec (SLO)
in 400 Free M (3:57.86); Anja Cerman (SLO) in 200 Back W (2:19.35);
Anja
Klinar (SLO) in 400 IM W(4:52.75) and Luka Vrtovec (SLO)
in 100 Free M (0:51.16). The final meet individual ranking: 1/Emil Tahirovic;
2/Luka Vrtovec; 3/ Luka Turk (among malese) and 1/Sara Isakovic;

| The
marvelous swimming of all participants was seen on the Day-1 of this LEN
International meet organized at the highest level by the Swim Club Branik,
Maribor... In the evening finals three new meet records have been set:
Mirna
Jukic (AUT) in 200 Breast (2:30.49); Vladan Markovic (SER) in
100 Fly (0:54.98); and S. Isakovic (SLO) in 200 Free (2:02.01).

Jedna od organizaciono i strucno, najboljih plivackih manifestacija
na najvisem profesionalnom nivou ne samo u Sloveniji, vec Evropi i ove
godine bice odrzana neposredno pred Novogodisnje praznike u Mariboru...
Dobro definisan program takmicenja, izvanredni uslovi na novom 50-m olimpijskom

Competition Schedule:
|
Qualifying rounds: warming-up at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. competition, |
|
Finals: warming-up at 16.00 p.m., 17.00 p.m. start ob competition. |
|
Entry fee of 5.00 € is to be paid prior to commencement of the morning
part of the competition. |
|
Electronic measurement. |
|
The competition will be governed by the PZS and FINA regulations. |
|
The Competition right is given to all the registered competitors of the
swimming organizations who have reached the qualifying norms for participating
(in the previous competitions). At the competition all the male swimmers
born 1992 or older and female swimmers born 1994 or older are allowed to
participate. |
|
Competition system: the championship itself includes the qualifying rounds
(in the morning), finals (in the afternoon). Groups for the morning part
will be composed on the basis of the submitted results, regardless of competitor’s
age. The eight best competitors (regardless of their age) in the preliminary
rounds shall compete in the afternoon finals. Three exceptions shall be:
the 800m/1500m free style and 400m individual medley, where the competitors
shall be grouped according to the submitted time results. The last best
group shall, however, compete in the afternoon (final) part of the competition. |

Awards:
|
The best three competitors from category of M3, M2, W3, W2 in each event
(with regard to the preliminary competition results) shall be awarded with
medals, except in events (800m/1500m free style and 400m individual medley)
which are valid only for the open class. |
The best three competitors in open class in the afternoon (final) part
of the competition shall be awarded
with the medals in each event. |
|
The first three male and female competitors in open class, who will by
LEN Score tables gain the highest sum of points in three (3) events of
final part, will be awarded with money awards. |
|
Preliminary applications should be submitted on forms by 19th November
2006. Final applications should be submitted till 03rd December 2006. |
