Last day of the Debrecen 2012 - without Serbs...
(Debrecen, HUN) - Last day of the European Swimming Championships held
without Serbian swimmers. Due to the decision of the SRB Swimming coach
board, SRB team canceled from the men's realy 4 x 100 medley.
On the last day evening finals, new continental champions became next swimmers:
in the women's 50 free Britta steffen GER (24.37); in the men's
50 free Frederick Bousquet FRA (21.80); in the women's 50 breast
PetraChocova CZE 931.25); in the women's 200 fly Katinka
Hoszu HUN (2:07.28); in the men's 400 IM Laszlo Cseh HUN (4:12.17);
in the women's 400 free Coralie Balmy FRA (4:05.31) in the women's
4x100 medley relay Team of Germany (3:58.43 CR), and in the men's
4x100 medley relay Team of Italy (3:20.80)...

Cavic - King of 100 Fly, turned back to the Euro throne...
(Debrecen, HUN) - Best Serbian swimmer ever Milorad Cavic, World
Champion in 50 fly (Rome 2009 World Championships), Olympic vice champion
(Beijing 2008) and the national record holder, came back to the Euro elite
at the present European Swimming Championships Debrecen 2012. If he had
to miss the previous Euro Champs in Budapest, Cavic turns back to Hungary
just to pick up the glory, prior to the London 2012. Just because of some
fault at the start of the men's 50 fly final, the medal in that event wasn't
caught. But, this evening in the town of Debrecen, in "his" race Men's
100 fly, Cavic swum out spectacular race, winning with the time of 51.45
CR. Many famous stars stayed behind Euro 100 Fly King. Second best
SRB butterlyer Ivan Lendjer ranked 4th with the time of 52.54...
SRB Men's 4x200 free Relay team placed 7th in the evening finals with the
time of 7:20.20 and again confirmed that Serbia has the respectable quartet
for the London Olympic Games...

(Debrecen, HUN) - Day-6 of the Euro Swimming Championships 2012 started
this morning with the qualification in the W 50 breast, M 50 free, W 200
fly, W 50 free and M 4 x 200 free relay...
Members of the Serbian Squad took part in three disciplines. Boris Stojanovic
in the men's 50 freestyle k ranked 28th with the time of 22.98. In the
women's 50 freestyle, Miroslava Najdanovski swum worthy race with
the time of 25.90, however she did not catch position for the Semi Finals,
placing just 27th.
Great success has come in the Men's
4 x 200 m free relay. SRB team (Stefan Sorak, Djordje Markovic, Velimir
Stjepanovic and Radovan Siljevski) placed 5th with the time of 7:19.91
earning the position for the evening final..

Cavic and Lendjer in 100 fly Final, Higl 6th in 200 Breast...
(Debrecen, HUN) - Day-5 of the Euro Swimming Championships 2012 concluded
with the evening 4 finals and 5 semi finals.
Four SRB swimmers took part in the evening events. In the men's 100 fly
semi finals, Milorad Cavic ranked 2nd (52.08) while Ivan Lenjder
placed 3rd (52.34) both earning the central start positions for the tomorrow's
100 fly final. In the women's 200 breast final Nadja Higl ranked
6th with the time of 2:28.24. In the men's 50 breast semi finals, Caba
Siladji placed 10th with the time of 28.04...
New European champions are: in the
M 800 free Gergo Kis HUN (7:49.46);in the W 200 breast Sara Nordestam
NOR (2:26.91); in the M 100 free Filippo Magnini ITA (48.77) and
in W 100 fly Ingvild Snildal NOR (58.04)..
(Debrecen, HUN) - Day-5 of the morning qualifications at the European Chmapionships
2012 circled more new five disciplines in the program (men's 200 back,
women's 200 free, men's 100 fly, women's 50 back, men's 50 breast and women's
1500 free).
This morning, three Serbian swimmers took part in the qualifying events.
In the men's 100 fly, Milorad Cavic, European record holder, world
champion and the Olympic vice champion ranked 3rd (of 53 athletes who participated
in this discipline) with the time of 52.46, while Ivan Lendjer placed
9th with the time of 52.86.. Both SRB swim stars earned positions for the
evening semi final races
In the men's 50 breaststroke, Caba
Siladji, SRB national record holder and the Olympian concluded qualification
at the 9th position of 52 participants (27.99) and earned the place for
the evening semi finals...
(Debrecen, HUN) - Day-4 of the European Chmapionships within the evening
semi finals and finals, unfortunately will not be memorized from the SRB
swim fans, especially in the men's 200 fly final..
Two SRB swimmers took part in the evening event. Velimir Stjepanovic
in the men's 200 fly final did not succeed to touch the medal. Entered
with the 2nd best time from SFs, Stjepanovic finished 5th with the time
of 1:57.06, behind Cseh HUN (1:54.95); Biczo HUN (1:55.95); Drymonakos
GRE (1:56.48) and Jukic AUT (1:56.53).
In the women's 200 breaststroke
semi finals, Nadja Higl went great and was ranked 4th (of 16 competitors)
with the time of 2:28.28 earninga place for the tomorrow's final. See Video

This morning in Debrecen, three Serbian swimmers took part in the qualifying
races. Nadja Higl, still actual world champion (from Rome 2009),
national record holder and the Olympian went great in the women's 200 breast.
She was ranked 2nd of 35 athletes with the time of 2:28.59, just 53/100
behind Hoestman (SWE) and in front of Novikova (RUS), Poewe (GER), Moravchikova
(CZE) and Ruhnau (GER)...
In the men's 100 freestyle, two
SRB swimmers participated among 59 competitors. Radovan Siljevski
placed 34th (of 59 athletes) in 50.67, while Boris Stojanovic ranked
46th with the time of 51.19.

Stjepanovic 2nd in 200 fly SF (1:56.84), Najdanovski ranked 8th...
(Debrecen, HUN) - Day-3 of the European Chmapionships within the evening
semi finals and finals brought another great performances..
This evening, two Serbian swimmers took part in SFs and finals. In the
men's 200 fly SF, Velimir Stjepanovic ranked 2nd of 16 athletes
with the time of 1:56.84 earning position for the tomorrow's final... In
the women's 100 free Miroslava Najdanovski did not swim her best
and was placed 8th with the time of 56.31.
New European swimming champions
became the next stars: in the men's 1500 free Gregorio Paltrinieri
ITA (14:48.92 CR); in the men's 200 free Paul
Biedermann GRE (1:46.27); in the women's 100 breast Sarah Poewe
GER (1:07.33); in the women's 100 free Sarah Sjostroem SWE (53.61)
and in the men's 200 Ind.Medley Laszlo Cseh HUN (1:56.66 CR)..
(Debrecen, HUN) - Day-3 of the present 31st European Swimming Chmapionships
in Hungary, within the morning heats, brought another great performance
from the members of the Serbian swim squad
In the men's 200 fly, Velimir Stjepanovic European Junior Champion
(EJC Belgrade 2011) and a member of the Serbian team for London 2012 went
not so worth, however he ranked 6th of 31 athletes with the time of 1:58.32,
quite enough for the evening Semi Finals. First three positions have been
taken by Bence Biczo HUN (1:57.47), Dinko Jukic AUT (1:57.69)
and Laszlo Czeh HUN (1:58.08).

31st of 43 athletes with the time of 27.04

Three SFs for SRB athletes, Cavic 5th, Lendjer 7th in 50 fly...
(Debrecen, HUN) - Day-2 evening did not bring a medal for SRB squad. In
the men's 50 fly final, Milorad Cavic ranked 5th (23.53), while
Ivan
Lendjer was 7th (23.68). In the men's 200 semi finals, Djordje Markovic
placed 11th (1:49.69), while Radovan Siljevski touched as 14th (1:50.11).
Miroslava
Najdanovski as 8th of 16 athletes in the women's 100 free semi finals
caught a place for the tomorrow's final with the time of 55.65...
New European Swimming champions are: men's 50 fly Munoz, ESP (23.16);
men's 100 back Grigoriadis GRE (53.86); women's 50 fly Sjostrem
SWE (25.64); men's 100 breast Scozzoli ITA (1:00.55) and in the
women's 200 back, Castel FRA (2:08.41)...
Serbian swimmers earned two semi filans in the morning heats. In the men's
200 freestyle three Srbs took part in this discipline where the best positioned
(of 48 athletes overall) was Djordje Markovic - ranked 12th with
the time of 1:49.57. Radovan Siljevski placed 19th (1:50.34). This
two athletes caught places for the Semi Finals. Stefan Sorak touched
31st (1:51.63) - his personal best time. In the men's 1,500 free Stefan
Sorak missed to start..
In the women's 100 freestyle, Miroslava Najdanovski, two times Olympian
and the national record holder placed 19th with the time of 55.97 and earned

Two SFs and two Finals for SRB athletes at the beginning...
(Debrecen, HUN)--- Just three and a half months have passed since the Antwerpen
canceled the host of the European Swim Champs. Organized by the Hungarian
Swimming Federation and the City Assembly of Debrecen this event gathered
more then 500 athletes from 45 countries
In the morning heats Serbian swimmers earned two semi filans. Milorad
Cavic in the M 50 fly ranked 2nd (23.70) between F.Bousquet (FRA) and
Munoz (ESP). Ivan Lendjer ranked 14th in the same event (24.14).
Other athletes did not succeed to get into SFs. In the M 400 free best
ranked was Stefan Sorak 11th - 3:53.97, Djordje Markovic
touched 13th - 3:54.17, while Velimir Stjepavnovic placed 26th (3:58.10).
In the M 100 breast Caba Siladji ranked 19th - 1:01.90. In the M
100 back Petar Petrovic placed 43rd of 43 athletes (58.95). The

Relay 4x100 free (Siljevski, Stojanovic, Stjepanovic, Lendjer) swum
out better then NR (3:21.93)...
In the evening Semi FinalsMilorad Cavic went great and earned
1st position for the tomorrow's 50 fly final (23.41), while Ivan Lendjer

The final roster of the Serbian swim team for the upcoming 31st European
Swimming Championships that is going to be held in Hungary, City of Debrecen
from 21st to 27th of May 2012 is finally completed.
