conculded Sunday. After the actions in the pool, the traditional LEN
Gala Dinner took place in the Opera House in Copenhagen where LEN
President Paolo Barelli greeted all invited guest, including
the representatives of the National Federations, the local organisers,
etc...

Day-5, within the
evening events, in the M 4x50 medley, RUS Team set the new WR (1:30.44). New Euro champions
became: Jessica Vall Montero (ESP) in the W 200 breast
(2:18.41); Luca Dotto (ITA) in the M 100 free (46.11); Sarah
Sjoestroem (SWE) in the W 100 fly (55.00 -CR)
and in the W 50 free (23.30-CR); Marco
Orsi (ITA) in the M 100 IM (51.76); Bolgarka Kapas (HUN) in
the W 400 free (3:58.15); Aleksandr Kharlanov (RUS) in the M
200 fly (1:50.54); Simone Sabbioni (ITA) in the M 50 back

DEN) - The EuroSwim 2017 on the Day-5,
within the morning preliminaries approaches to the end. Last 7
new
disciplines of the Championships were swum: W 50 free, M 50 back, W 200
breast, M 200 fly, W 400 free, M 4x50 medley and W 4x50 medley relay.
One
new World record is set and few worthy results might be seen this
morning.
In the M 50 back prelims, Kliment Kolesnikov set new WJR (EJR)
with
the time of 23.10.

Two athletes
of the SRB Swimming Team and the Men's Relay participated on the Day-5.
Within the morning heats, in the w 200 breast, Jovana Bogdanovic ranked
17th of 36 athletes (2:25.30). In the W 400 free, Vanja Murtin placed
25th of 33 participants with the time of 4:18.16. In the Men's 4x50
medley, SRB team was unfortunately disqualified and did not earn to
assure the position for the final...

DEN) - The EuroSwim 2017 continued Saturday in Copenhagen. On
the Day-4, within the morning heats, eight new disciplines of the
Championships were swum. One new WR is
set by NED Mixed Relay 4x50 free (1:28.39). New ER is set by Adam
Peaty (GBR) in the M 100 breast F (55.94). Beside him, the new Euro
Champions became: Ruta Meilutyte (LTU) in the W 100 breast
(1:03.79); Katinka Hosszu (HUN) in the W 200 IM (2:04.43) and
in the W 50 back (25.95); Charlotte Bonnet (FRA) in the W 200
free (1:52.19); Aleksandr Popkov (RUS) in the M 50 fly (22.42).

| Five
athletes of the SRB Swim Team participated on the Day-4. Within the
morning heats, in the M 50 fly, Sebastian Sabo ranked 2nd of 53
athetes (22.54) and earned evening SFs. In the M 100 free, Ivan
Lendjer ranked 24th of 86 athletes (47.92), Andrej Barna
29th of 86 (48.05) while in
the same event, Uros Nikolic finished as 33rd (48.26). In the
M 100 IM, Stefan Sorak placed 18th
of 50 athletes (53.98).. In the evening SFs, Sebastian Sabo
ranked again 3rd (22.46) and in
final divided the 3rd position (22.44) earning a bronze medal (together
with the GBR swimmer Benjamin Proud). Congratulations! |

DEN) - The EuroSwim 2017 continued Friday at the Royal Arena.
On the Day-3, within the morning heats, 7 new disciplines were swum.
One new WR is set by NED women's relay
in the W 4x50 free (1:33.91). New ER (and CR) is set by Kiril
Prigoda (RUS) in the M 100 breast SF (56.02). One new WJR (EJR) is
set by Kliment Kolesnikov (RUS) in the M 100 back (48.99).
Beside
Kolesnikov, new Champions became: Ranomi Kromowidjojo (NED) in
the
W 100 free (50.95 CR); Katinka Hosszu (HUN) in the W 200 back
(2:01.59)
and W 100 IM (56.97); Philip Heintz (GER) in the M 200 IM
(1:52.41); Franziska Hentke (GER) in the W 200 fly (2:03.92); Mykhaylo
Romanchuk (UKR) in the m 1500 free (14:14.59) and Vladimir
Morozov (RUS) in the M 50 free (20.31 CR). |

athletes of the SRB Swim Team participated on the Day-3. Within the
morning heats, in the M 50 freestyle, Andrej Barna ranked 22nd
of 79 competitors (21.68). In the the M 100 breast, Caba Siladji
placed 17th of 49 athletes (58.64) and became the first reserve for the
semi finals. In the W 200 fly Vanja Murtin ranked 21st of 27
swimmers with the time of 2:12.98. In the M 200 IM Stefan Sorak
placed 14th of 51 participants (1:56.41). |

capital. On the Day-2, within heats, nine new disciplines were in the
program. One new WJR-ER is set by Kliment Kolesnikov
(RUS) in the M 100 back SF (49.25). New European Champions this evening
became: Danas Rapsys (LTU) in the M 200 free (1:40.85); Kirill Prigoda
(RUS) in the M 200 breast (2:01.11); Peter Bernek (HUN) in the
M 400 IM (3:59.47); Katinka Hosszu (HUN) in the W 100 back
(55.66); Matteo Rivolta (ITA) for the M 100 fly (49.93); Sarah
Koehler (GER) for the W 800 free (8:10.65); Ranomi Kromowidjojo
(NED) for the W 50 fly (24.78) and the Nedherlands in the Mixed
4x50 Medley (1:37.71 CR). |

athletes participated on the Day-2. In the morning heats, in the M 200
freestyle, Andrej Barna ranked 30th of 60 competitors
(1:47.05), while in the same event, Uros Nikolic placed 48th
(1:49.24) dispite he had the better entered time. Unfortunately,
previously entered by
the NOC, Vuk Celic renounced from the Champs and M 1500 free. |

DEN) - The European SC Championships 2017 started Wednesday in
the Danish capital. On the Day-1 new ERs were set by Kirill Prigoda
(RUS) in the M 50 brast SF (25.72) and Fabio Scozzoli (ITA) in
the M 50 breast F (25.62). In the M 200 back F, Kliment Kolesnikov
(RUS) set new CR, WJR, EJ (1:48.02). New Euro champions became: Katinka
Hosszu (HUN) in the W 400 IM (4:24.78); Aleksandr Krasnykh
(RUS) in the M 400 free (3:35.51); Ruta Meilutyte (LTU) in the
W 50 breast (29.36). |

competitors and the Men's relay participated on the Day-1. In morning
heats, in the M 100 fly, Sebastian Sabo ranked 8th of 56
athletes (50.85) and earned SF, while Ivan Lendjer ranked
18th
(51.51). In the M 50 breast Caba Siladji placed
as 16th of 56 athletes (26.81 - in swim off 26.70). In the M 400 free Stefan
Sorak ranked 19th of 39 athletes (3:45.20) and in the M 4x50 free
relay, SRB team palced 5th of 18 teams, better then the old NR
(1:26.06). In the afternoon events, in the M 50 breast SF, Caba
Siladji placed 15th (26.89). Sebastian Sabo in the M 100

Timekeeper, the Microplus Timing has issued the complete start lists in
all disciplines for next 5 days of the Championships.

LEN
confirmed the sum of the biggest amount of prize money awards in its
history: while the basic pot will be the same as it was in Netanya 2015
(€220.000), for the first time ever record bonuses are also up for
grabs for the swimmers. The ‘big’ amount is going to be distributed
among the top
12 performers both among male and female swimmers. Based on the
FINA-points of the entered times the highest amount can be reached by
Gregorio Paltrinieri,ITA (1500m free,14:08.06) € 20.000 among
men, while on
the women's side by Katinka Hosszu, HUN (400m IM, 4:19.46).

The 19th European SC Championships 2017
Starts on Wednesday...
(Copenhagen,
DEN) - Marvelous Royal Arena in the Denmark's capital is ready
to host the EuroSwim 2017. More than 2 million litres of water have
been filled to the two pools set up by MyrthaPools (the competition
pool and the warm-up pool). Royal Arena is a multi-use indoor arena in
Ørestad Syd, part of the City of Copenhagen. The ground was
broken for construction on 26 June 2013 and the arena is opened in
February 2017. It has a capacity of 13,000 for sporting events and up
to 16,000 (either sitting or standing) for concerts. The official
Project of this building was presented at a press conference at Bella
Sky Hotel on 23 September 2011. The design of the Arena was presented
on 7 June 2012. The winning design team consists of 3XN, HKS, Inc.,
Arup, ME Engineers and Planit. On 03.02.2017. the
famous band Metallica opened the Arena. This was
the 20th time that Metallica performed in Copenhagen (including
Roskilde). They first played in Lars' hometown on December 11, 1984 at
Saga..

| The European Short Course Swimming
Championships 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark, will be the 19th edition
of LEN European SC event. The Championships and will be staged
13th-17th of December 2017. The Championships will be the first sport
event in the astonishing new multi arena, Royal Arena, in Copenhagen's
Oerestad. |

More than 1000 athletes from the
continent and delegates are expected to participate, and during the
five competition days, 40 new European champions will be crowned. Around 700
swimmers are entered for the competition in 40 disciplines.

The event will be hosted by the
Danish Swimming Federation in collaboration with their partners Sport
Event Denmark and the Municipality of Copenhagen along with the help of
more than 500 volunteers.

According to the entries, 46 nations
send their swimmers to the year-ending showcase. Host country Denmark
will have the largest team (38), Italy (36), Hungary (32)
and Russia (31) also take part with huge 30+ member strong
squads. LEN offers 220.000 € in prize money
and beyond that record bonuses too for the first time, 10.000 € for the
individual World Record and 5.000 € for the
individual European Records.
